This was the most magical part of our trip to Indonesia. Our driver, Bram, was AMAZING! He was like an Indonesian dad to me and my friend. He always did everything possible to make us feel comfortable and went above and beyond in every way. He bought us fruit to snack on after our long hike, he drove so safely that we felt comfortable sleeping in the car for hours, and he even checked in on us a week after the trip ended to make sure we were safe after an earthquake in the area. He truly made it so special. Our local guides along each part of the trip were all awesome as well. The trip was organized so well and we got to personalize it along the way since it was a private tour. We weren’t sure what to expect for the hotels but they were actually really nice! It was obviously exhausting to have such early wake up calls for the hikes but it was well worth it and we came away with such special memories. We kind of went in blind with not knowing exactly what to expect but that made the adventure so much fun!
