The pass was amazing, we were able to see so much in Stockholm, the museums were plenty, we understood some places were not open for the season yet but look forward to coming back again to see the islands . Hop on and hop off was disappointing as only 2 buses were running and made for a lot of dead time ended up Ubering instead. We even took in the ice bar and drink.

Horrible experience. I am giving Stockholm Pass and Viator 1 star; would give 0, if possible. I bought a 2 day pass and the pass only worked for 24 hrs. When I went to use it on day 2, the QR code was no longer available so I could not use it to get into any of the sites. I contacted Viator, and they reached out to Stockholm Pass. When Viator got back to me they said that my pass expired at 11:59 pm on Day 2, which was funny since I contacted them around 11am on Day 2 (12+ hrs before it expired) when I was at The Royal Palace and saw that QR code was missing from my pass. At that point, I should have had the majority of the day available. Viator kept giving me the same answer when I told them the QR code was missing, which was required to get into the sites. I tried to contact Stockholm Pass but had no luck. Basically, I paid for 2 days and got 1, so was ripped off for 1 day. I would not recommend either and will not be using Viator again.

Buying the City Pass was a nightmarish experience! You are literally on your own, as far as planning your way around the city and getting from point to point. Unlike tour excursions sold by private companies which provide communications between operators n the clients, with CityPass you need to find your own answers by reading through EVERY fine print there is available on its website and links. It is not very simple and requires a lot of pre planning for it to work for you. Not ideal for cruise passengers who have very little time to spare during the port stop, and who have never been in the city. Would definitely NOT recommend, not worth the savings! We ended up having to pay for a taxi ride to get us back to the cruise ship for on-time boarding!

Waste of money! No QR code. None of attractions would except it even though I could prove I paid £125.00 for two day pass. Ruined our break that was for my granddaughters birthday. Tried to contact by email. No reply so far

Everything worked perfectly. The Hop On Hop Off buses were great. The only negatives were that (1) it doesn’t include access to public transit, and (2) the Hop On Hop Off routes end at 5 PM. By 5 PM, we weren’t finished our activities yet. For both cases, it was good that we supplemented the passes with visitor travel cards for the public transit.

I've used GoCity in Boston, Las Vegas and Hawaii and Stockholm is by far the easiest to use because almost every attraction does not require previous booking or additional booking. It is as simple as showing up with your pass and getting in.

Viator was advertising this pass without any kind of notice for the end of the season cancelations of the boat service as part of the City Pass.
And after I asked for partial refund they refused it. We were not able to utilize the Pass to go to Drottinholm Palace by the boat, because local service provider Stromma stopped offering a such service due to the end of the season without any notification.

Not easy to get the pass, lots of complicated steps to follow
On the first day I could somehow see the list of attractions. On the 2nd one it disappeared.

Absolutely terrible experience and need to receive a refund. We purchased two tickets for the two-day pass for USD $220.00 total, and planned our two-day trip to Stockholm around what was included in the pass. We had downloaded the Viator app to use for entry.
Not a single museum or attraction was able to scan our pass. Apparently, it showed as inactive every time anyone scanned the pass, despite the booking details showing that we booked had for that day, and that our card had been charged. We ended up having to pay for several museums that were included in the pass out-of-pocket. In addition, the Archipelago tour that we had planned on doing was not able to scan our pass, and after we spent over a half hour on the phone trying to reach Viacom and Go City customer at the ticket stand, the tour booked up and we were unable to go. Because we were only in Stockholm two days, we could not go another time and completely missed out.
Save your money. This was a complete scam and not only did we waste money, it actually ruined our itinerary and caused us to miss a key activity.

The Go City pass is worth it if you are planning to visit multiple museums and sites in one day. However, I recommend Viator to partner with Red Hop-on Sightseeing operator company as they are more professional and give accurate directions/ information compared to Stroma.

Top not having to buy separate tickets. Flop because the QR is not working in the musea. Not in the app, not in IPhone wallet. Very annoying at every ticket booth.

Nice deal if you plan it well. You need to visit at least 4 museums/day plus do hop-on hop-off either boat or bus. Be aware, there are 2 providers of hop-on hop-off buses: Stromma and Red sightseeing. both are red in color and run on the same route with the same stops, which is very misleading. Also with this pass, you should use Stromma busses, and they have only 2 buses in an hour, the other company has 3-4 buses in an hour. The boat trip to Vaxhoul is great, but with the pass, you get a bad combination of times for going back and forth. So again requires good planning.

We booked the package online understanding that some of the features would not be available in Winter. A key drawcard for us was the guided archipelago trip offered by Stromma. Having double checked before buying the pass both the Go site and the Stromma site confirmed the trip was operating on the day we needed. When we arrived to redeem our ticket we were told the trip would not be going and we were limited to a much shorter tour around the city. Very very disappointed and feel quite ripped off.

We went to the Jewish Museum and loved it. However, it was $10 and the pass was $43 so we lost a lot of money! This is only worth it if you are a museum-hopper. After January, it might be worth it because museums will charge, whereas in this month, most museums were free.

The QR wouldn’t work and I was unable to contact anyone for further instruction. The booking specifically said that the Viator QR was the only thing needed. I have requested a full refund as I has to pay for attractions individually. The Go City card is probably excellent so long as you book direct and not via Viator.

Worth the money! If you use this pass to go to the attractions, they are well worth it. Some of the attractions are less valuable than they value them, however, all in all it is a great deal. The Vasa museum was great. A definite must. The hop on, hop off bus and boat were also great. Helped us to get our bearings and use as transportation for our two days. The Stockholm Cathedral and Nordic Museum were great. We would repurchase when in Stockholm again.

Purchased two Go City pass tickets in Stockholm to see the sights. Went to the first attraction, Vasa museum, which was the number one stop on my plans. We were told by the cashier that specifically “the Viator Go City pass was a scam and the museum was not honouring them.” I cancelled the pass immediately and was refunded fully.

I got 1 day pass in the city and used it to its fullest! I managed to visit Vasa Museum, Nordic Museum and the Vikings Museum. After a short break I also went to the SkyView by Avicii Arena - partially travelled via hop on hop off bus and ended my day with hop on hop off boat.
I'm very happy about my decision to buy the city pass! Highly recommending!

Know that the HOHO bus service ends at 1600 daily (even when they state there is a late bus due to the ship being in port). Aside from that, this worked great to see a lot of the city in a day and a half.
