This was an excellent walking tour. Rachel was very informative and went at a very comfortable pace. She gave us many other ideas and tips for our time in Stockholm. She was very pleasant to talk with and just a really nice person.

The provider, Adding:tours providers detailed and extensive tour of the sites and history of Stockholm. This was a very interesting and enjoyable tour. FYI, this walking tour covers several miles over mixed terrain and with some hills so not recommended for anyone with mobility issues.

Great experience, would highly recommend taking this tour on the front end of the stay in Stockholm. History of Gamla Stan helps in understanding the rest of the islands.

It is a bit long (3hrs) and it covers a small amount of the city. There is a lot of walking on different surfaces. But Ian, our guide, was an excellent, excellent guide. He gave a lot of information at each location. But there should a stop or two along the route for a coffee.
One other point: we had a difficult time finding the initial meeting location.

Adding extra stops for coffee would have extended the tour time further for all participants or alternatively required shortening parts of the planned itinerary.

We provide detailed meeting point instructions to all guests the evening before the tour, and these are usually sufficient to help guests locate the meeting point with ease. You can’t get a better experience of exploring a lovely city like Stockholm than see it through the eyes of a knowledgeable proud local. Kenny was amazing plus I got him one on one. He listened and answered my questions. Considering it was such a busy Saturday (the Kings Golden wedding) I’m definitely coming back to this place asap. Interesting and stunning doesn’t give it justice.

Kenneth was amazing as a guide. He was very thorough in the commentary he provided on the many sites we visited, gave me the time to stop and take photos when and where I wanted and above all was very friendly. I have done quite a few tours over the past few weeks and this was easily one of the best in terms of value for money. Kenneth even told me that I could contact him if I needed anything after the tour, i thankfully did not have to resort to this but it definitely gave me some peace of mind knowing that I could have reached out to a friendly local should the need have arisen. This tour was a fantastic way to explore the fantastic city of Stockholm and Kenneth provided lots of insight into its people, history and culture, I have no hesitation in recommending it!

We had a great day exploring Stockholm with Kenneth! It was the perfect overview on our first full day in the city. He gave us so much more knowledge and context for the rest of our 3-night stay. We ended up having a private tour since nobody else booked on this day (Saturday in March) - bonus!

Our tour was wonderful! The “small group” ended up just being me and my husband (likely due to the cold, wet weather).

What a magical trip through historic Stockholm! Kenneth led an engagingly entertaining and educational look at significant events across Swedish history as we made our way through Gamla Stan and surrounding neighborhoods. What I most appreciated were his personal anecdotes as we walked past significant places from his youth growing up in Stockholm. Being of a similar age, I appreciated these personal touches describing his experiences as a boy and could reflect back on my own experiences growing up at a similar time, but in a place half a world away. Lastly, thanks for the great recommendation for what to eat when the tour was over! I was more adventurous because of it and was richly rewarded with a delicious traditional Swedish meal! I had an absolutely amazing experience on December 31st, 2025. Kenneth was incredibly welcoming and friendly. He shared so many surprising facts about the city's history and present day, as well as Sweden's cultural icons.
