The tour started out good. We saw some great views and then picked up lunch and were taken to the beach across from the airport to eat and swim, snorkel, etc. We finished lunch and it started to rain. We gathered the chairs and tables and walked up to the road. We could not find our guide, Max. By now it was pouring the rain down. We called Max and proceeded to stand in the heavy rain and waited another thirty minutes for Max to arrive. We understand you cannot control the weather, but if you tell us you will be right across the road if we need anything, you should be there. We were so soaked we went straight back to the cruise port to get a hot shower and dry clothes. A bit disappointed and underwhelmed.

My daughter and I had a great private tour with Rainey and Max. Max did the driving and Rainey was our guide. They’re very nice and built the tour around what we were interested in. We had done some sightseeing and shopping in Charlotte Amalie a few days earlier, so we got to see some historic buildings there that we hadn’t seen. They also took us to Mountain Top and some nice observation points in the mountains, then to get a takeout lunch, which was included in the price of the tour, from a local cuisine restaurant downtown to take to Brewer’s Beach. They shared interesting information about St. Thomas along the way. They set up chairs and a table for us in the shade at the beach and brought a cooler of waters. We had about 1 and 1/2 hours at the beach to eat, snorkel and look for sea glass, coral and shells, it was a great beach to find all three. I saw a hawksbill turtle in the water while snorkeling! If you don’t rent a car but want to tour around the island while you are there, I highly recommend taking a tour with Rainey and Max!

Wonderful excursion!! Rainee and Max did an excellent job with this tour! They are two of the nicest people you will ever meet, not to mention fun, friendly, and very knowledgeable about their island. They listened to our areas of interest and did a great job of addressing our interests. Rainee and Max took us to a local restaurant to pick up lunch and then drove us to a beautiful beach and set up tables and chairs for us to enjoy our food in paradise! Many thanks to both Rainee and Max for the wonderful tour!

We booked this tour as an excursion while on a Princess Cruise. Note we booked it through Viator directly, not the cruise line. Max was our tour guide. It was just my wife and I so it was private. The difference between a private tour and a tour bus is huge. We’ll take private every time. And Max did not disappoint. He is professional, knowledgeable, patient and flexible with his tour. The Mountain Top visit to sip on world famous banana daiquiri’s and lunch on the beach, Max set up table and chairs for us and brought along snorkeling gear was epic. Highly, highly recommend this tour.

Transportation was clean and very comfortable. Max was extremely accommodating and helpful. We really enjoyed our tour. We would have liked more information about the area, perhaps just a bit more history and maybe a few more stops. It would have saved some stress if the meeting location had been communicated with directions and a map well in advance, but we were able to work that out. Definitely a friendly, comfortable, and custom way to tour the island!

The reviews do not lie, max is awesome. I did the night tour as a surprise to my boyfriend whose birthday was the same night as the excursion. Max took us to a few spots that ended up being perfect for my boyfriends birthday because we ended up doing everything he loves ( gambling, drinking, vibing and sight seeing) I would definitely recommend this excursion

It was very wonderful, informative, relaxing and very well executed day by Max. He was a gentleman and assisted us into and out of the vehicle. Lunch was amazing and the beach was not overcrowded, clean and pleasant.

There was some initial confusion about the meeting location, which caused a brief delay, but it was resolved quickly and professionally. Max then gave us a wonderful private tour, sharing lots of interesting history and insights into the island’s culture. He followed a strict timing schedule, which we really appreciated. Lunch was included and was excellent, with a private table and chairs set up for us on a quiet beach. Having security on the beach made us feel very safe, and snorkeling gear was also provided. Overall, it was a great experience and a very enjoyable private tour.

Max customized our experience for us. All we had to do was let his wife know our interests and he took us around the island pointing out highlights of the beautiful island. We ended with a nice lunch from a local restaurant that we ate on a beach! Thank you for the great experience!

Max was very kind and professional! Our tour landed on a rainy day but in the end Max still made the most out of it for us to have a great experience, which we did! On top of that he was very accommodating and gave great insightful facts on St. Thomas and its neighboring islands. His wife Rainee also called the day before to confirm our tour and make sure we knew what time we were being picked up. Loved the great communication! Overall, I definitely recommend this tour!

We couldn't have asked for a better tour! Max was very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and a joy as our guide. It was only my husband and I and we had a great time. This is our 1st visit to St. Thomas and we learned a lot about the island. The food was delicious! The island and beaches were breathtaking. We went on this tour and it was totally awesome. It was me and my gods sister Max showed us around and we had a wonderful time. We ended up booking with them again after our other tour was canceled. And that was the best decision we could have ever made. Was booking with Max again? We had a wonderful tour. It was everything that we could have possibly thought of we got to see all over the island very happy, very, very happy, got some very authentic island food. I know that I will be coming back to St. Thomas again. Bye, and when I do I will be calling Max and his beautiful wife to get the same tour experience.

We enjoyed the local tour with Max who was courteous and timely with pick-up from our ABNB. Learned about the island while stopping for photo opps, food and souvenirs. We also enjoyed eating our lunch by the beach and quick dip in the water before heading back. Great authentic way to experience St. Thomas!

Even though I was the only booked for this particular day, I was surprised it wasn’t cancelled. So I was just Max the tour guide and myself. Max was very knowledgeable and I throughly enjoyed the tour. He gave me time to look in the different shops and always told me to take my time. He took me to all the highlighted spots. Once we reached Brewers Bay Beach, he set up the table and chair so I could enjoy the lunch which was AMAZING and he told me, he would be ready when I was. 10/10!!!

Max, our tour guide was very accommodating from the time we were picked us until we were dropped off. The tour was tailored to our personal preference to avoid repeating previously visited sights on other tours. He recommended T-RESTAURANT and CHICKEN FRY for lunch (included with price) and took us to Brewers Bay Beach. Max set up our chairs and table where we enjoyed our food, relaxed, and enjoyed the calmness of the beach and cool water. During the tour, he shared his knowledge of the island and changes that have taken place. I would highly recommend this tour to others visiting St. Thomas.

My own personal tour. I was able to choose which sites to see and for how long to spend at each place. Max was very patient, and offered some historical and cultural onsite to the tour. The beaches we visited were beautiful Brewer’s beach and Coki. I would highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I decided to do the nighttime tour so I could get an authentic local going-out experience. I ended up being the only person who booked that night, and I have no regrets. Max and his wife did a great job setting expectations and were super flexible with the timing. Instead of the standard one-drink minimum at the bars, I even got to choose a bottle of champagne to sip on between stops.
Max is very knowledgeable, and if you’re into nightlife, he’ll take you to all the best spots so you’re guaranteed to have a great time. It felt like having a personal chauffeur for the night. You can turn your brain off, relax, and just enjoy the experience.

We had a great time on this tour by Lotus Koi Concierge. They sent out a survey in advance on our preference, and they tailored the itinerary accordingly. We had a great time with Max going to scenic stops and trying out true local foods. We also loved learning about the lifes on the island. If you want a great personalized experience this tour is for you.

Having a tour of St. Thomas catered to exactly what we were wanting to see and do without time constraints was absolutely amazing.
Our tour guide Max was very knowledgeable about the island and took us to see all the highlights St. Thomas has to offer.
We had the local lunch, and it was some of the best food we have ever eaten. My son devoured the chicken faster than he has any food he has ever had. The lunch offered many choices in meats and sides. I also had the chicken, Mac and cheese, and mixed vegetables. The flavors were bursting with every bite.
I told Max that the next time we return to St. Thomas we were definitely going to book another tour with him. The island has so much to offer, I know we only scratched the surface, and I can’t wait to see what we explore next time.
If you are looking for a custom tailored tour I cannot recommend Max and his company enough. He truly went out of his way to make sure our time in St. Thomas was what we wanted it to be. The only down side was having to leave.

Max was awesome! He personalized our experience based on our preferences noted on a survey we filled out the day before. He explained why our Magen's Bay stop would take up a chunk of our time leaving us little opportunity to see other beaches and spots. The banana daiquiri at Mountain Top was SO good! We learned a lot about the island and Max treated us so well by providing us water, lunch, snorkel equipment, floats, chairs, a table, and vests if needed. I would highly recommend! This excursion was well worth the money!

We did not go to the big stops listed. Magen bay beach was skipped. Food was cold and greasy. The beach we went to was like a city park. Flat and all we saw was minnows!

We intentionally do not visit Magen’s Bay due to its location and the high volume of visitors, especially on busy ship days. Instead, we take our guests to a more serene beach, which is actually used by the local university for marine biology studies. This location offers a rich and diverse marine ecosystem, as it is not as heavily trafficked as Magen’s.
Regarding the marine life, we are not familiar with minnows, as they are freshwater fish, but the beach we visited is known for its thriving marine biodiversity. We always strive to provide a unique and enjoyable experience, and we regret that this stop did not meet your expectations.
As for the food, we appreciate your input and will take it into consideration. Our goal is to provide a great experience for all of our guests, and we value your feedback in helping us improve.

I can’t say enough about how first class this experience was. We were treated like royalty with our every comfort anticipated and accommodated. A relaxing, customized tour of St Thomas! We were interested in sightseeing, rum tasting, photo opportunities, souvenirs and beach time and this tour delivered everything along with local history and interesting facts. On top of all that, we ate the most delicious local cuisine at a protected, beautiful beach.. Max provided beach chairs, drinks in a cooler, snorkel gear and life jackets—all we brought was a towel and a camera. It was the BEST day we spent on STT. Thank you!

We booked this tour as it drove us around the highlights of the city and was ending up at Magens Bay which was of most interest to us. at some point after booking it the guide decided to change the itinerary without consulting us - it seems there would be an extra cost to the tour company to take us to Magens Bay so they removed it from the webpage and took us to another beach beside a busy road, close to the airport and unfortunately the snorkel equipment was defective. the guide was a nice guy but we were disappointed

The travel time to Magen’s Bay, along with potential wait times, would take up a significant portion of the tour, and we want to ensure our guests make the most of their time exploring the island.
Regarding the snorkel gear, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. As an island-based small business, obtaining new equipment can sometimes take longer than we’d like, but we’re happy to share that our new gear has arrived.
