Trip that I planned was perfect.
However when we arrived at destination, driver demanded cash payment of 600+ch for a completely and totally paid trip. Payment paid via Viator process.
It turns out that the service supplier communication and payment verification system is totally broken. Driver was given wrong information. That surprise ruined a perfectly great journey with lunch break at Sihlmatt and drive thru Davos.
I would not use Viator again for car service because they are an aggregator and cannot control quality of service provided.
I have no such problems either many trips with Alptransfer and Alpexcursion.
I give 5 stars for the trip and driver.
I give 2 stars for Viator’s service provider Europe-Journey.com.

We would like to clarify that, as the service provider, we always communicate all trip details to both the client and the driver in advance. In this case, our records confirm that your trip was fully arranged and confirmed with a 3-hour stop, which was agreed with you for an additional charge, as your initial booking did not include any stops.
Daniel is one of our reliable partners in Switzerland, and we are genuinely unsure why he requested cash payment. As soon as he reread our instructions, he realized his mistake and immediately apologized. No payment was requested or accepted after the misunderstanding was clarified. We are sorry for any inconvenience this caused and understand how it may have been unsettling.
We manage many trips daily, and these details are always carefully confirmed with our clients to prevent such situations. We are committed to ensuring clear and accurate communication for both clients and drivers, and we will continue working to improve our processes.
