Great tour, and an amazing tasting

Great tour of the St Lucia Distillery, with some fun and interesting facts dotted throughout. Great way to understand how rum is made, as well as understanding the history of the distillery. And then chance to taste everything! Quick tip, it's cheaper to buy here directly that from most outlets. Our driver Sheldon (again!) was awesome, advising us on how to mix some of the rums together, as well as sharing his knowledge of the Island. (it was our second tour with him, and it felt like travelling with a friend.) A great tour if you are interested in, or enjoy drinking rum!

Good trip, great tour guide

We really enjoyed the experience. Our tour guide/ driver arrived early to collect us from our hotel to take us to the distillery. Once we arrived, we watched a short video about the history of the distillery and were then shown around the different sections of the facility to learn about the process for making rum. We were then shown the carnival exhibition and then it was onto the rum tasting. 22 different versions of white, spiced, cream, medium and dark rums to try at your leisure. We then headed to the shop ro purchase some rums to take home, all were carefully packaged and boxed, they were great value. We then headed back to the hotel, stopping at some key viewing points and a local vendor to purchase some hand crafts and items. Our tour guide/ driver was very friendly, helpful and professional, it turns out that we had similar interests in music, which made the travelling even more great, along with the bottled water and Pitons beer provided on the journey, of course.

Great rum tasting

The rum tasting was was very extensive. There will be something for every rum lover. John was was very knowleadable and entertaining. It was a fun trip. We were on a cruise and got back in pleanty of time to explore the port.
