Overview

Cover all the highlights of Gros Islet and Soufriere during this comprehensive full-day tour. You’ll travel in a safari-style 4-wheel-drive vehicle, driving through the city center on the way to the Venus Estate Waterfall. Great way to see the island!

There was a bit of a mixup with pick up times but once we got going it was great! Lulu has the best jokes and is extremely knowledgeable. Really got to see the beauty of the island. If you can avoid going on a day there are cruise ships docked, it would make for a more intimate experience. The mud baths were crowded but still a cool experience. Lunch was delicious too!

Judy, Caloo and his mate from Disney Cruises, sorry can’t remember his name, were fantastic, they arrived at the hotel in heavy rain in the open back with roll cage and cover Landrover and we were issued with camouflage army ponchos to wear for the trip. We collected 10 more passengers and drove to Anse le Ray for a stop to collect Branch, our jungle/ waterfall guide and we met his dog called Boom. We then went on to the waterfall and trekked into the jungle, reaching the waterfall via a 15 minute hike and 2 river crossings, stopping to sample a local avocado which was delicious. The waterfall was amazing and after a short climb assisted by Judy and Branch, we reached a pool where we could take a dip, with some of the party climbing further up with branch to the top. When we were done we trekked back to the Landrover and were given cold bottles of water for the journey to the next destination. We traveled around 50 minutes to a little restaurant overlooking the Pitons for a local lunch of rice, noodles, chicken, fish, vegetables etc and a fruit punch. Once we were finished, we travelled on to the volcano and we went down to the hot springs and mud baths. The springs were lovely and hot, we all daubed the mud on us and took the obligatory pictures, we rinsed off, dried off and went back to the Landrover to be met with a cup of rum punch, which was lovely. We drove back up the island and dropped off the 10 others and then we were driven back up to our hotel and dropped off. Many thanks for a great day out with memories to last a lifetime

Lulu was very knowledgeable, friendly and hospitable about St. Lucia's history and the excursions itself were excellent. I did not want to leave the mud bath. St. Lucia has special healing powers. Thank YOU Lulu and Cham for keeping us safe and providing all the FUN!

AMAZING trip!! We booked this last minute for my husband’s birthday and I’m so glad we did! Our guide, Judy, and driver, Ian were incredible. They were so kind and went the extra mile to make it a memorable experience. The hike to the waterfall was absolutely beautiful. We got to try so many different local fruits. Lunch was great as well. We got to see almost the entire island. Amazing views and so much fun!

Traveling By Land and Sea

Thanks to Guide Lucretia and Driver Ben - they made this outing a fun experience. Lucretia's sense of humor provided many a light moment as we traveled between the various locations. Because I was the only individual to choose use of the catermaran for my return trip, Lucretia briefly explained to the group why she was momentarily leaving them as they experienced the Sulpher Springs mud therapy. Lucretia personally escorted me to the appropriate catermaran and explained she would be present to greet me on my return to the capital. As for Ben he took care all passengers exited the jeep in a safe manner.
