Great day going to Nevis.Got a cabana at Pennie Beach for a relaxing beach day. Tour guides were very friendly and attentive.

Fastest and best way to go to a great beach on Nevis if you are going to St. Kitts on a cruise ship. Wife and did this on 11/15/25. Walk off the ship into the port shops area then 100 yards left to the marina. Fast fun 30 minute boat ride from the marina included fun crew, music and all you want free soft drinks and rum drinks. Drops you off right at the beach where person was waiting for us to show us our included front row covered beach cabanas. Nice beach was not crowded at all. Free wifi and they have food and drinks for purchase. The fried fish sticks were fresh Grouper and they were amazingly good. Stayed at beach for 4 hours then boat ride back to marina was right on time. We took the 9:00am departure from marina and we were back by 2:30. Awesome excursion. Do this one!!!

A great way to do a quick trip to Nevis. The crew was great. We actually watched another company almost leave without a few guests. A Mother and child had to run to the boat and lost her shoe in the process. We had a group of 9 on our trip decide they wanted to stay and didn’t let the crew know. They were nice enough to drive to the other end of the beach to confirm the guests didn’t want to board before leaving. Amazing half day trip.

Beach was beautiful, we upgraded to add the island tour, and it was informative and included lunch. We still had time to enjoy the beach.

We loved this excursion. Took it from the cruise port. Very relaxing and the beach was really nice. I would highly recommend.

This trip we found out had been cancelled without prior warning as advised by representatives Gabby at the port. We were left out of pocket as we had to pay the cab fare to the port. Gabby spoke to the office and has booked us on the longer trip to Nevis today at no extra cost and stated we would also get a credit for the taxi? He said we would get confirmation of this yesterday but nothing has come through. We are about to set off again to the Port. Gabby said he’d be there so hopefully will get that sorted? I live in hope

It was a lot of fun. The crew on the boat made sure you had a great time. The beach was a bit rocky and could be difficult to get out.
Shalon_S, Feb 2025
We had a great time on this excursion. They were primpt considering we were off the cruise ship for short amount of time. Chair and umbrella supplied on the beach. Shore is a little rocky but once you get past the rocks, it's beautiful.

When we got there we decided to upgrade to the island tour and lunch. We are so glad we did. First of all, the catamaran trip was nice with Captain Cracker. But the island tour with Keno was superior. He was so knowledgeable and passionate. He kept us in stitches. And then lunch. OMGosh, the fried fish was so tender. The batter was light and the sauce was so delicious. Oh, and the beach chairs/table were unique and relaxing. I almost forgot, the hot mineral spring dip was nice too!

We had a great day. Drinks were flowing on the boat. Mini dance party ensued. Beach was great. Cheap drinks great service. Found a sand dollar and 3 stsr fish. Definitely would do this again. Only concern was finding the Marina after walking out of the port. Instructions were not clear.

We had a nice day but this excursion was not well organized. The boat to Nevis was basic but didn't have enough seats and some people had to stand. We did not receive a welcome drink and the beach was only okay. The chairs were beat down and bathrooms were a port-a-potty trailer. There is no big beach bar - just a couple shacks preparing food primarily for delivery to the chairs. Beach also has a lot of broken shells in the surf - bring water shoes. There was poor communication as to when we would be returning with no real instructions. We just watched for the same boat that dropped us off and got back on it. The boat seemed less crowded on the way back so I hope everyone made it. We had fun but I would not book this excursion again.

Great excursion! Friendly staff, good food, strong Margaritas, nice beach!
Great music while on the boat!

Great wee trip over to Nevis.
Beach is amazing and plenty of chairs to relax in.
1 hour taken off it due to cruise wanting to leave earlier.
Paul_K, Dec 2024
Perfect beach, water and overall atmosphere. Very uncrowded with plenty of chairs for free. Local food and drink available right on the beach. Ask for Mr Green...he makes a mean rum punch 😉
Michelle_G, Dec 2024
Great trip from Basseterre, St Kitts to Pinney’s Beach on Nevis. Ride over with Captain Crackers and his catamaran was a bit choppy but he dropped us off at the beach and came back in just under 4 hours. We had a pair of beach beds and umbrella on the beach. There were all the facilities you could need for a pleasant few hours at the beach. Drinks on the boat were included in the fare. Overall a great trip.

Our favourite trip so far! Loved the speedboat ride to Nevis! Rum punch lethal. Nevis beautiful and quiet beach. Great value trip.
Steve_M, Oct 2024
My tour got canceled due to not enough people was offered this catamaran replacement and took it. Let me say the Falcon 1 is a fine ship and Capt Al was sensational, along with his crew. The music, the info from the interaction with the crew and meeting me passengers was great. The snorkeling spot and time was enough and the return trip with the lunch, more drinking and music was just a ton of fun. Captain All had us laughing and his personality is spot on for this job. He sang, played dj, answered questions, was bartender and driving the ship, truly an asset to your company.

Easy pickup at cruise port. The excursion used Orange Cat charters who did a great job taking care of us. Relaxing boat ride there and back. Drinks on boat. Great beach spot to relax with food and drinks. Highly recommend. Great value for the cost.

The day started off a bit rocky as we had to wait for a ship excursion to get to this part of their excursion. While waiting, the offered us rum punch or beer and told us that they would make up the time lost on the other end of the trip. Nevis Island was beautiful, and we enjoyed our lunch at the restaurant on the beach. Overall, it was a fun was to spend the day at the beach.
Kevin_R, Jun 2024
Captain Cracker and crew are amazing! Best excursion of our 10 day cruise. They catered to all our needs and allowed us to spend the majority of our time at a beautiful beach with great food and drinks. FANTASTIC!!!

This was our first time using Viator and booking an excursion outside a cruise company. We were hopeful for a good experience but were extremely disappointed with how things unfolded. We booked the Nevis Beach Getaway, operated by Blue Water Safaris: “Make the most of your time on St. Kitts-Nevis with an easy beach transfer to explore the beach at Nevis. Ride a power catamaran to the neighboring island's famous Pinney's Beach, where you'll be set up with a welcome drink, a beach chair, and a shared umbrella. Spend your four hours of free time how you like, then catch your transfer back to the port at St. Kitts. Fast beach transfer to Nevis from St. Kitts Round-trip transportation from the St. Kitts cruise port Welcome drink, beach chair, shared umbrella Four hours of free time at Pinney's Beach.”
The only accurate parts were the beach chairs, umbrella, and the fact we did make it to Pinney’s beach after being transferred to multiple different tour guides who increasingly knew less and less about where we were going or what we were supposed to do. There was never a ride on a catamaran at any point. The tour described a 30 minute ride to and from the beach. That did not happen.
Upon arrival to the marina, our group was informed the boat was running late, but eventually we were told the best way for us to get to Pinney’s beach would be to take a cab to another location to meet the boat. We were told the cab would be at no cost to us. We had to walk back in the opposite direction we came from to get to the cabs. The group was split into several vans run by different operators and set off to the opposite end of St Kitts to meet the boat. After a long ride, we were taken to a small beach where a water taxi, run by yet another different company, met us. He took us to Nevis Island, about 10 minutes, where we thought we would be at the beach finally. No such luck. We asked the boat operator what we needed to do to get picked up and go back to the cruise ship port. He said he would come back to get us, but he didn’t know if the taxis would be there. He also wasn’t sure where we were supposed to go on Nevis Island but said there should be a tour guide to meet us at the top of a hill. We were met by a bus driver who told us he would take us on a 40 minute tour. The entire group was frustrated by that point, and he agreed to take us straight to the beach, about 15 minutes more. During the ride, one person in our group called Blue Water Safari directly, who promised the return trip back would be as expected with the boat picking us up at Pinney’s beach and taking us back to the Cruise port. However, upon arrival at the beach, the bus driver said he would be back to get us at 2pm and take us back to a different boat. Each person we spoke with gave us a different answer. The guide who was supposed to meet the group at the beach also told us we needed to take the bus back. So someone called Blue Water Safaris again, and they insisted there would be a boat to pick us up at Pinney’s beach. Our final time to reach Pinney’s beach and get chairs was about 11:15am (we were supposed to be there at 9:30am). During the time on the beach the group of 21 people remained concerned about how we were getting back to the cruise ship port on time - all aboard for the 3 cruise lines was 4:30pm. Blue Water Safaris told us it was 6:00pm, but we checked our itineraries and needed to be back before 4:30pm. During the time on the beach, another call was placed to Blue Water Safari. In the end our group of 21 decided to stick together in case we needed to arrange our own transportation back. The bus returned at 2:00pm, not a boat as promised, which gave us 2 hrs, 45 min at the beach. We spent almost equal time being shuffled around to different modes of transportation as we did on the beach itself. So, on the way back, the bus driver took us to yet another dock with a different company’s water taxi, which took us back to the cruise port. The only time we met the original tour operator was when we first arrived in the morning and during phone calls. All they did was pawn us off on multiple other transportation carriers. There was never anything close to a catamaran, just hot sweaty rides with people crammed in to taxis and busses. The last trip we had with a water taxi on the way back to the cruise port seemed ok. The crew was friendly and offered us drinks. However, when we got to the final drop off spot, there was no good way to get off the boat. The water was rough and the boat was moving up and down from the dock about 3 feet at a time. The men lifted the women out, including a woman who just had knee surgery. This was unsafe and unacceptable. The day prior, at a neighboring island a man lost his leg and life trying to board a water taxi. Instead of a relaxing excursion, this was stressful and unsafe. I would not recommend this to anyone.

We apologize for the miscommunication.
We received no reports on this situation and so we would of revised it immediately.
As a company we ensure our trips are vey well organized and smooth as possible.
There is only two rides which is to and from Pinney's Beach on a speed boat. There is only two tour guides and one captain depending on the type of boat and there is also is an open bar. So it wouldn't be necessary to take a bus ride.
We are not responsible for your ship itinerary but however all our tours are arranged in a manner that you will return to your Cruise ship on time.
We had no reports of an injury or a man loosing his life .
Our company ensure that your time with us are completely safe and memorable.
Thank you for your review and for visiting us!!😁

The description stated a catamaran ride to Nevis. The Catamaran never showed. We got passed off to two taxis and finally a water taxi to get to Nevis… very disappointing. Total time on Nevis was reduced because of the failed transport. Very disappointed with Viator

Was not as expected- FALSE ADVERTISING! No Catamaran, lies from management . Very disappointed!!!!!!

We apologize for the miscommunication.
Hope you can join us another time and have an memorable experience.😊

We had booked a catamaran cruise, which was the main thing I wanted to do, but not enough people booked, so we were on a smaller boat which just wasn’t as much fun. The beach at Nevis was gray sand, but the water was beautiful. Wasn’t crowded, but the chairs were too close to the water.

Blue Water Safari was just a short walk from our cruise ship .. left on time. Captain and crew were a fun and provided a nice rum punch , beer or soft drinks. Trip over to Nevis was a little rough but got to beach in 30 minutes. People on the beach were very nice and lady who was our “contact” extremely efficient, helpful and nice. She Explained where things were and left us know when time to leave and where to meet boat on the beach.
Ride back was fun and did see some other sites on St. Kitts. Got us back before all aboard time. Definitely recommend!

The trip over to Nevis Island was great. Once we were dropped off, our tour boat left with a promise to return. Unfortunately, our tour boat had "technical difficulties" (according to a company representative) and did not show up for the return trip. We went back to St. Kitts via a taxi and over packed smaller vessel (no open bar which was part of the tour). Forty minutes after making it back to the dock, I saw our original tour boat returning from an excursion packeted with happy drunk patrons. VERY DISHONEST PROVIDER ... I WAS RIPPED OFF!!!!!!! NO REFUND OR DISCOUNT OFFERRED. BAD EXPERIENCE.

First off the customer service of the “boss” was horrible. When we got there the bathrooms literally had feces smeared all over both of the port o potty’s. Then it was raining, which I understand they can’t control, but there was absolutely no where to go to get out of the rain. The employees were walking around with umbrellas or sitting in their cars while their guest were wet and cold along with all the belongings. Like I said I understand no one can control the rain but rain is to be expected from time to time. So why don’t they have any area(s) where their guests can get out of the rain and stay dry between showers?
They pick you up from the pier and with very little explanation of what’s going on send you on a boat to a beach. They drop you off and then leave by saying, see you in 4 hours. There is a tiny bar that we found on our own. No food was offered and still don’t know if there was any available.
I have been on other beach getaways and this one was nothing like what we have experienced in the past. I wish I could be writing a better review but the experience wasn’t great. The facilities not good, customer service down right horrible, and the beach seemed to have imported sand because the sand was not the best.
I wouldn’t say skip the tour but if there is any chance of rain I would. Also check the bathrooms before you have to use them so they can clean them if dirty. Also, if you don’t mind course sand with sea shells.
I don’t want anyone to be hurt financially but it was a lot of money for a subpar excursion.

We had previously booked and gone to Nevis with Viator pre pandemic. It was one of the most beautiful places we had ever been. It was a totally different experience. Definitely a different beach although the booking from previous shows the same picture you have online. Previous beach was massive and much nicer. Very isolated in past. No protection from rain. Constant heavy rainfall with no real protection. Didn’t even go in the water. Towels soaked. Food expensive and very limited. Bathroom facilities were acceptable but not the best.
