Very comprehensive, informative tour of Island by our D.A.C. Tour guide, Dijon. Lively and engaging description of best sights plus “fun facts” all along the way. Highlights were stops at strategic Brimstone Hill fortress, botanical garden and beach. Also had time for photos at best vistas. Exceeded our expectations in all ways.

They will do pick up from hotel or ship terminal. I shared the tour with one couple. We had plenty of room, and the driver/tour guide was very knowledgeable. We covered all of the major tourist points of interest. There was cold water available and a local coconut snack cookie made by a member of their community. The trip was about 4 hours, so plenty of time to get a feel for the island without feeling rushed. A good time.

This was an interesting tour around St. Kitts. BUT rather expensive compared to tours of other islands, AND they charged another $10 each to be dropped off at Frigate Bay Beach. To top it off, there was no "public" restroom, and the restaurant where we were dropped off required us to have a wrist band showing that we purchased something there. Someone from our same ship used a local operator he had used before to give them a tour around the island for $30 each, including drinks and a stop at the beach.

We had an excellent day with Dijon touring around St Kitts. He is SO knowledgeable about his island, funny, and made the day wonderful. It was best way to see so may sites around the island in one day. We loved the beach stop at the end and the fabric dying and the fort. Such a beautiful island!

Great tour with a small group. It is an incredible view from Brimstone Hill! Beautiful island. I liked the fact that we were asked by our guide if we wanted to spend more time at the attractions or the beach. Very flexible, we saw the sites and still had plenty of beach time. Great pictures from Brimstone Hill! I would definitely recommend this tour!

Dijon our guide gave us a wonderful informative tour of the entire island- he didn’t rush us. We had the best of both worlds because at the end he dropped us off at Frigate Bay Beach and came back and picked us up two hours later. Highly recommended tour! And he gave us a wonderful island snack too!

Our guide from tour provider CAC Taxi was good but her sound system was not adequate. Pickup was prompt and EZ from our cruise ship. The needed AC worked well and there were only 4 of us plus driver/guide in a 9 passenger van. Due to our own physical limitations we passed on a stop with lots of stairs and did not opt to stop at the beach, but those were available. The stops we did make were easy to navigate. Overall we were far more comfortable than we would have been in the large open air taxis we saw at most stops. The tour was worth its cost.

This tour checked all the boxed of what we wanted to do on St Kitts. It was off and on rain, so we did not do the beach. The Van was a bit on the old side but it worked.

Great tour of entire island!

This was a great tour. We had been to St Kitts before but never saw so much of it. Didn't know there was a UNESCO heritage site on the island. Our tour guide was great and really wanted to share the island with us. There was an opportunity to go to the beach at the end or return to the port shopping area. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Stops, Disappointing Beach Experience

This tour was very informative. Our guide, Dijon, was knowledgeable and able to answer our many questions. Meeting point off the ship is very easy to get to. All of the stops were beautiful. That said, it was a very busy Sunday on the island, so several stops felt crowded and rushed with lots of locals out and about. We would have preferred fewer stops and more time at places like the Batik Gardens. Jumping out for a quick photo and immediately leaving isn’t our style—we like time to actually experience the location. The vehicle was clean and very comfortable, and Dijon provided plenty of ice-cold water and a local snack, which was appreciated. Unfortunately, the final beach stop fell flat. The restaurant Dijon originally planned to take us to for lunch was closed, so we went to the next closest option and felt very unwelcome. We were never served and eventually walked out. We also experienced frequent harassment to rent beach chairs, which we weren’t interested in. We ended up finding another spot for hamburgers and drinks, but by then we only had about 30 minutes at the beach, not enough time to enjoy it. More guidance at the beach or a choice of locations would have greatly improved the experience. Overall, the tour had strong points, but the pacing and final stop could definitely be improved.

Champ was an EXCELLENT tour guide — personable, informative, caring and a safe driver. His love for St. Kitts was evident and he did a great job of sharing the history and natural beauty of the entire island. I also appreciated Champ’s offers to take pictures of my spouse and me together with the many scenic backgrounds. There were four of us on the tour, and when the other couple decided not to do the “beach time” option at the end, Champ drove them back to the cruise ship, then returned at an agreed-upon time to pick up my husband and me - no problem.

Our tour guide, Dijon, was excellent. He knows his island very well and gave us a thorough overview of each village as he drove us the entire way around the island. He threw in "fun facts" which were so fun and informative. You can tell he really is passionate about his job. He was in no hurry and took much care to take us all the beautiful and historic sites. He gave us a local treat and water during the trip. He had a great sense of humor and had us all laughing. I would highly recommend this excursion.
