This was a really informative and enjoyable tour around St Kitts. Spoony—Annie’s husband—was a wonderfully knowledgeable and entertaining guide, and he brought the island to life throughout the day.
His knowledge of St Kitts, the wider Caribbean region and the world beyond is exceptional. He is clearly a wide reader with an impressive depth of knowledge to draw on, but he shares it in a relaxed, engaging way rather than making it feel like a lecture. We came away with a far better understanding not only of the island’s history, culture and landscape, but also of how St Kitts fits into the broader story of the Caribbean.
A real highlight was the stop at Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park, the impressive hilltop fort and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its history, dramatic setting and sweeping views make it a memorable place in its own right, and Spoony’s commentary made the visit even more worthwhile.
Recommended for anyone who wants more than a quick drive around the island and is looking for an entertaining, informative guide with genuine local and wider-world knowledge.

Charlie is the best man for this tour. If you plan on touring St kitts ask for Charlie. He knows the history of this Island better than any book. He’ll explain everything in a way that we can understand, no one gets left behind. The ride is long but with Charlie you’ll not want it to end. His tour is not watered down you get your monies worth and leave with lots of information. CHALIEEE!!!!!

Despite our Viator voucher including hotel pickup, the company demanded extra money and failed to show up, resulting in financial loss and a ruined day. We agree with some other reviews that note poor communication and a profit-driven approach (e.g. extras, cramped vehicles) over customer experience.

This is on your bottom of your booking, the hotels we pick-up location.
And all of our vehicles as you mentioned is not cramps up. If the front desk at your hotel get or assist you with a cab for pick-up and it's cramps to our meeting location, not our fault
I personally explained to you of all the pick-up area The Royal St.Kitts Hotel, Marriott Beach Club and Resort, Sugar Bay Club Hotel, Timothy Beach Resort Hotel, St.Christopher Club, Sealofts, Leeward Cove condos, Island Paradise Condos.
We can't just be driving different directions and places to do pick-up ,because of the distance. And also have a pick-up Point in Basseterre the City at the ships 🚢 Port Or the Marina.
There no reason to be mean, we are all God's Children 🙏 No one in this world is perfect. The Good Book Bible says so.

Great tour, but it lasted longer than the 4-5 hours that was advertised. We made it back to the cruise port in approximately 6 hours, so maybe don't book anything immediately afterwards. That being said, we were able to fit in numerous attractions on our 6 hour tour! Check out our photos for some of the picturesque places we learned about and explored!

I booked this tour because of the high reviews and I saw the name Spoony being mentioned alot in the reviews, so when the driver came and pick us up and introduced himself as spoony, I was so happy we had him as our guide. He is the absolute best! This tour was amazing, was never a dull moment and he knows his history! He answered all of my questions and I asked alot😅, I love history. This tour is a must do when visiting the Island, it's definitely worth it

Tour is too long, not enough to truly see to spend 5 hrs driving around the island without a stop for food. Had trouble finding the tour, didn't see the sign mentioned, I sent a msg via the Viator app, it went unanswered. I finally had to pay for an intl call to reach someone to get directions. I am used to big signs, usually with our name on it and communication directly from the tour operator when we arrive via a cruise confirming meeting place. Didn't happen here.

Firstly, you book a Full island Tour.
There was other's on same tour, had no problems finding the meeting location.
You say Five hours driving, why lie?
You choose the tour, there is a lunch tour available for your tour hook,you did not book a tour with lunch.
It's not a lunch tour , there were places we're you could have gotten a snacks,
You had 20 minutes at the Wingfield Estate Old Ruinings of a Sugar and Rum Plantation, there are Vendors selling drinks and snacks and Food and a restaurant.
30 minutes at Botanical Garden, there is a bar with snacks there
45 minutes at UNESCO World Heritage Site Brimstone Hill Fortress, restaurant is there.
15 to 20 minutes at Black Rock, Vendors lots again
10 minutes or more on Timothy Hill, Vendors again.
Lots of opportunity for you to buy.
We guess you love the island 🏝 so much ,you wanted to miss your ship.lol
Charlie was a good guide. He shared a great deal of information about the places he took us to. The views from the fort were amazing.

This was the most uncomfortable excursion I have ever been on. The seats were so close together that there was no leg room. My knees are all banged up and I am not tall - 5' 10".

What date was this tour?
All our vehicles are 24 seaters and 18 seaters 15 seaters, 14 ,and 11 seater's.
We not big Country's that have 50 seater's and big trains, we only 68qmiĺes with land space of 65qmiles.
If you tour on the 3rd May, there only a 23 seater had 16 persons a 14 seater had 9 persons.
Joseph was a great guide. The tour had about 12 participants in a small tour bus. Joseph gave us all kinds of information as he drove the minibus all the way around the island. I feel like the stops had just the right amount of time too.

This is an extensive island tour. You see everything the island offers! Beautiful views, historical sites and so much more. Joseph was out tour guide a d he was very knowledgeable. Loved the tour. Be sure to bring snacks and drinks as they are not available all throughout and it is a 5 hour tour!

A wonderful experience! Annie was amazing, accommodating and knowledgeable. She gave us quite a few laughs. We enjoyed ourselves learning about the island, there is so much history here. If you have limited time on this island and want to take it all in this adventure is for you. It was a nice mid cruise break for us. It’s sad the island has not recovered from 2024 hurricane, but our tour guide was exceptional! So glad we choose this tour

Great and easy way to see Saint Kitts. Driver Joseph, was knowledgeable and easy going. It was a little chaotic at boarding since they had so many people wanting the tour. After a few minutes of counting people , all was good.

The guide was waiting to collect us exactly as described. His knowledge of the island's history was very good, and he welcomed questions. The tour bus was comfortable, and visibility good. We visited all the locations listed, and had time to take some amazing photo's. A thoroughly enjoyable tour which was relaxed and informative.

Good tour of the island. Driver made 5 stops as promised plus all the drive-bys. I would have liked him to accompany the group to all the spots. That way he would have kept it all on time. But, he was ok and informative about the island. Good man.

I had a fantastic tour of St. Kitts with Spoony (hope I spelled that correctly!). The experience was extensive and beautifully organized, covering Basseterre, several small villages, historic landmarks, scenic viewpoints, the fortress, Caribelle Batik, and natural highlights across the island.
The tour was very informative and comprehensive and well worth the money. Spoony was accommodating to every request and handled the group with patience, even when there were delays (which always seem to happen on group tours!). The van was comfortable, with air conditioning that was effective without being too cold. As a woman exploring alone for the day, I felt safe, well cared for, and completely comfortable throughout. I was also lucky to meet some lovely fellow passengers, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended.

This tour cannot be beat for the views! There are a few places where climbing stairs & hills are required. The information you will get all depends on your tour guide. Ours was a retired cop who knew a little about everything. Do not plan anything else for this port if your cruise ship leaves in the afternoon; it is a long day.
