Top St Kitts Snorkeling

I was able to rebook another excursion due to my cruise line leaving earlier than I knew. They accommodated me on the spot for a shorter excursion with fellow cruisers, it was perfect. The only downfall was one of the guys getting too drunk, puking and blacking out all before getting back on the catamaran to get back. So beware if you have a throw up phobia like me that it’s most likely to happen with open bar, the heat and bumpy seas. However the beautiful countries, beautiful people and beautiful scenery is unmatched.

Fantastic time with the quad bike guys from start to finish. We were picked up from the port and taken up to the start point where we briefed on the quad bikes and each given helmets. The tour takes you on off-road winding paths with stopping points along the way to take photos. The tour guys are really good fun and knowledgeable about the island; it’s history and culture. We had a brilliant time and would highly recommended the trip. Few things to know: you don’t need your driving license; if you worried about handing the ATV you can ride pillion; it’s off-road driving and the paths are bumpy - but that adds to the fun and you go at a pace to suit your ability and conditions.

We loved seeing St. Kitts and Nevis through the eyes of local captain Dillion and first mate Poppie aboard the power catamaran Moko Jumbie. I thought I wanted a sailboat catamaran originally. I WAS WRONG! The dual 300 hp outboard motors got us a full tour of the islands best swimming/snorkeling locations leaving plenty of time for lunch and “killer bees” at Sunshine’s Bar on Pinney Beach (Nevis). We only had a day in port (on a cruise) and had no problem at all walking off the pier turning left between the shops and finding the guard shack of the local Zante Marina. It only took 5 minutes. The boat was ready on time and stocked with the beverages we discussed. Our decision to hire a personal boat gave us more freedom and quality family time that exceeded my expectations. The boat, crew, itinerary, Carib Beer (local Brown bottle) and rum punch were all great - but the real treat was the company and conversation enjoyed by spending a day with locals Dillion & Poppie Hanging out with them is a pleasure. They are honest, very responsible, exceedingly knowledgeable and just plain fun to be around. Our party was 5 adults included my active 92 year old Dad who had a blast swimming and trying the local fare. Out of all the VIATOR experiences I have enjoyed over the years this is the one I will always remember and savor. THANK YOU Dillon & Poppie. Keep doing what you do !

The mini speedboats were so much fun. The views on the ride were gorgeous! We loved the snorkeling. We had 3 guides that took great care of us. After snorkeling we sat in the boats enjoying some fruit and a beverage. There were only 3 of us so the entire excursion was about only about 70 minutes but we never felt rushed. We are so glad we went on this excursion!
