Shane is the guide you want! 10/10 experience! He is personable, knowledgeable, and made our tour around the island one we will never forget! This is a must do tour! He even took us for some amazing lunch! Will do the tour again in April when we return with family!

Shane is the best tour guide. This tour is for all ages. Our group ranged from 14-82. We visited all of the "tourist spots" in St. Kitts but the best part was seeing all of the hidden gems in Shane's hometown. As a native, he has a vast knowledge of the island's history. This was one of the best shore excursions my family has taken. We met as strangers and left as friends.

Shane was hands down one of our favorite tour guides of all time. He was professional, knowledgeable and most of all he was so passionate and proud of St.Kitts and you could tell he wanted everyone who visits to love it too.
What I noticed about Shane as well was that all of the places he took us too, he didn’t take us to gimmicky touristy places who would then try to sell you endless stuff. Shane did not do that and we so appreciated that. He really wanted people to have a good time and to learn about the history of St.Kitts and have an appreciation for it.
I highly recommend Shane! I hope his dream garden comes to fruition!! Can’t wait to come back!
Also, please bring cash!! We didn’t bring enough because the first stop was cash only for entrance - we had enough but not nearly enough for our tip for Shane at the end of the day! We felt so bad! He should set up some sort of Venmo or Zelle for tips!

Shane and his team led us through a wonderful day on St. Kitts! Shane is highly knowledgeable and did a great job educating us about the island’s history and culture, and kept the day fun and engaging. He also added personal touches to the day that gave us a glimpse into daily life on the island. I doubt we’d have gotten nearly as full of a picture of St. Kitts and its magic if we’d toured with anyone else.
We had a ball, and can’t recommend this tour highly enough! Because of our great experience with Shane and his team, we’re already planning our return trip to St. Kitts!

I booked this tour specifically because of positive reviews of Shane's tour and I'm glad I did. And now I'm here writing my own review. Shane's passion and knowledge of St. Kitts is evident. The tour consisted of a small group of people, rather than bus loads offered by the cruise lines. We packed in a lot of adventure without being rushed.
If you are looking to see St. Kitts, including tasting their local cuisine, you will not be disappointed with this tour.

Shane was an excellent guide, and we can’t recommend this tour enough. It was informative, fun, and a great introduction to St. Kitts. You can really tell how much he loves his home and wants to share it with his guests.
While the whole tour was thoroughly enjoyable, seeing Shane’s hometown of Sandy Point from a local perspective was our highlight. Brimstone Hill was also a beautiful stop and made for great photos.
We were staying on island, and happened to book the tour on a day no cruise ships were in port. If you have the option of choosing, and prefer things less crowded, this worked very well for us. It felt like we had the stops to ourselves.
Thanks again, Shane! We’ll be popping by to see your maturing garden and have a few Ting with a Stings next time we’re on St. Kitts.

Shane was fantastic! This is a must do when visiting St. Kitts. He is very knowledgeable about the history of the island and goes out of his way to make you feel at home. We had local food, stopped by his house to see his mom, went to a secluded area for lunch from a local place, and stopped to see his garden and dog on the way back, on top of all of the major landmarks. This was a beautiful first experience for us not being familiar with the island. We would recommend this for anyone, especially first time visitiors. Thank you Shane!

10/10 hands down! Shane offers the best combo tour: educational, relaxing and fun! He shared local pastries, beer, rum and Tinga soda (big hit with our 8yo kids). He even showed us his house and we got to wave a hello to his mom!! Oh the love and pride this man has for his island is palpable! Small group of 12, Shane facilitated engaging discussions amongst us and shared his deep knowledge of the history of the island. Our lunch stop was fantastic, right on the beach. Here is where Shane surprised us the most: our kids wanted to stay a little longer at the beach. We were considering getting a taxi back to the port but Shane offered to pick us up later in a smaller van. He 100% cares about his customers, treating us like family. Do not hesitate to book his tour, you won’t regret it. When we visit St. Kitts again, we will surely reach out to Shane. We wish him, his son, and his whole family the best of luck!!

This was a one of a kind outing! If you are looking for a small group, personal and fun experience, this is for you! Shane made this excursion one of the best we’ve done on any cruise. If this is your first time to St Kitts, then this is a fantastic excursion for you. Shane even took us to the part of the island where he resides and showed us his property and we even got to meet his mother! We stopped to get lunch from a local restaurant in his town and took us to a small beach area with covered picnic tables. We saw all the places that the cruise tours go to, but we were in our own small tour and could go at our own pace. He was extremely knowledgeable about the island and made it very interesting. We would highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful tour with Shane. His love and passion for St. Kitts is contagious. The tour was filled with personal touches including a chance to see the less well traveled parts of the island and we even got a chance to wave hello to Shane’s mother ☺️! We had a fabulous day exploring the stunning St Kitts with our amazing guide Shane and his son. Shane is rightly very proud and passionate about his country and happily shared his vast amount of knowledge with us. We had a fabulous private tour with Shane seeing all of the amazing places on the itinerary and more. Shane supplied us with cold beers and drinks and took lots of gorgeous photos. We were able to spend enough time in each place. Shane showed us where he lived and we met his mum. We particularly enjoyed the stunning Black Rocks, Brimstone fortress and Timothy Hill with their amazing views. We saw a demonstration of Batik at the gorgeous Romney Manor. We finished the day at the beautiful Frigate Bay.
We had a really fun day exploring stunning St Kitts. We would strongly recommend doing this amazing tour with Shane, he is the best!!

You will not be disappointed. Shane is probably the best tour guide we have ever had. He is personable fun had so many interesting facts about the island and he shows you everything. The real Saint Kitts, as well as the beautiful beaches and resorts that dot the island. We stopped for lunch at a local restaurant picked it up as a to go and went to a black sand beach and ate our lunch there. If you like history, don’t miss walking through the fort at brimstone Hill. It was spectacular. We were never rushed. I just don’t have enough good things to say about this experience.

This tour covers the entire island of St. Kitts including both local and popular tourist attractions. We booked this tour through Viator while on a Princess Cruise. The tour is about 5 hours. We were back to the ship approximately 3 hours before departure. So we had plenty of time to visit the cruise port and unwind before dinner. Shane was our tour guide. We have used Viator many times for our excursions and Shane was the best guide we have ever had. He has great knowledge and history of the island. Shane also has a positive energy that shines through with his outgoing personality. Note there were 9 of us on this tour. The bus we had could probably accommodate 16 people so we had plenty of room, very comfortable ride. We visited interesting historical sites, took great pictures of beautiful Frigate Bay, and had snacks and drinks all the while Shane shared facts about the island, his life and answered any questions we had. Great experience, highly recommend this tour.

This is a great tour, giving the local flavour of the island and places visited. The tour guide was very personable, knowledgeable about the island and customs, very friendly and had a great positive outlook. The one unpleasant stop was at the top of Timothy Hill because it was absolutely packed there, we could hardly get the tour vehicle into the parking area - but of course, this is outside the control of the tour operator, just unfortunate for our visit.

We had a great day with Shane. He picked us up from the Marriott and drove us to the port to meet the rest of the tour. He gave us raisin bread and water while got settled on the van. Shane shared a lot of great information about the St. Kitts and we found ourselves still talking about all we learned for the rest of our week on the island. We are very happy we got to see so many beautiful places like Romney Manor, Brimstone Hill, and a black sand beach. We had a great day with Shane!
