This is the best sunset cruise of them all! We looked at many reviews and are so glad we picked this one. On this boat, they take you further out to watch the sunset. We were literally in front of the other sunset cruise boats. We also had such an amazing time on board! Nana checked in on us multiple times to see if we needed anything and to make sure everyone was having a good time. She interacted and sat with many groups to talk and laugh. They also provided wine and other drinks.

This was a nice way to round off our holiday, and to mark my 'big' birthday, but slightly spoiled by two things (hence the rating). The rubbish left by the previous passengers had not been cleared from the boat so there were empty glasses, tubs and wrappers on the floor and table. And the 'champagne' was certainly not as advertised! At least the skipper had the good grace to refer to it as 'apple wine'! But it was a pleasant surprise to find we were travelling in a speed boat with only about 8 other passengers and it was an OK evening. (Pity about the continuous selfies/posing by our fellow passengers at the front of the boat. Not the fault of the company, but it certainly marred the experience.)

I would not recommend this sunset boat experience. Overall, it felt very unprofessional from start to finish. The first red flag was at check-in. The staff appeared very young and spent most of the time joking around while waiting for guests to arrive. When we contacted them by phone beforehand, they also came across as somewhat rude and unhelpful. A major issue was that the advertised boat was not the one we were given. Because there were fewer than 12 participants, we were placed on a much smaller speedboat instead. Nobody informed us of this change in advance, nor were we given the option to cancel or reschedule. The smaller boat significantly changed the nature of the experience and was not what we had booked. During the trip, we were briefly stopped by the police. In our case, the stop was quick and did not cause any major problems. However, the crew mentioned that these inspections can sometimes take up to 45 minutes, which is important information that guests should know beforehand, as it could result in missing the sunset entirely. The refreshments were also disappointing. Despite the experience being advertised with drinks, there was only a single bottle of water available for all guests. There were no soft drinks at all. The sparkling wine provided was not Prosecco but a very low-quality spumante, which felt far below expectations. The music was another letdown. Rather than having a proper setup, it was simply connected to the skipper's phone. Because he frequently received calls, the music would constantly stop, leaving long periods with no music at all. Overall, the experience felt poorly organized, lacked professionalism, and did not match what was advertised. Between the unexpected boat change, limited refreshments, inconsistent music, and unprofessional staff, it was a very underwhelming experience and not one I would recommend.

I enjoyed conversation with the captain and the mate. But the entire trip was a waste of time and a rip off. It was a small boat and the water was too rough to go out. So we drove out in rough water anchored or drifted the best we could for a while and then drove back. There was no cruise to it. They should never have let us go out not because it was dangerous but because it was a waste of time due to sea conditions. So I would not recommend these people for anything. They should have refunded our money rather than what occurred.

We booked this sunset cruise in later October. Although split was very busy it is the start of the off season for Croatia. The boat was not as shown nor did we have the experience of others posted in their reviews. No safety instructions were provided.

Staff were very nice. Champagne offered is warm. Wine is warm. Glasses are plastic which is ok but not terribly clean. Tour started at 6:15pm and not at 6pm so lasted 15 mins less than advertised. Sunset was beautiful and Split looked lovely lit up at night as we returned.

Non narrative tour of the Split

If you go on this tour, expect nothing. The cruise is just a scenic cruise with no narrative correspondance of what your looking at. Grayline tours is subpar. You are self serve for drinks. The staff hid away from guests. It wasn't the experience that we expected. We where totally disappointed in this tour.

Our sunset cruise was EPIC - honestly, the sunset was just amazing! Breathtaking. The team were brilliant, lively and friendly, and we loved it when they sped up and let us have a bit of a speedboat experience! Fun vibes, good music, glass of wine in hand...thoroughly recommend this for a brilliant way to end a day in stunning Split!

Overall experience was okay, the crew are amazing and very friendly but I was expecting better. The boat is not great and you can find yourself with very lousy people and sometimes children who will spoil the moment.
