The instructors were very friendly and we had a lot of fun. We had the transfer from split option. That was all nice and smooth. Our group of 8 persons all fitted in one van, including all our hand-carry luggage for our upcoming flight.

What To Expect

Make your way to a central location in Split for a morning departure, then transfer to a white water raft launch point on the Cetina River, which flows towards the Adriatic Sea from a source in the Croatian mountains.

Start by practicing the basics of white water raft safety and handling, then suit up with a helmet, life jacket, and a rafting paddle. Launch the boats down the Cetina River, and steer your white water raft through a fun mix of quiet sections and white water. The river winds through varied terrain, from stone cliffs that come to the edge of the water to sections of forest and slender riverbanks, and you can jump into the river to cool off along the way.

When you reach the take-out point at the end of your Cetina River paddle, a driver meets you for the return trip to Split.

Please note: it may be possible to arrange a barbecue lunch at the end of your river trip. Please contact the supplier after booking.

While the rapids themselves aren’t anything to adrenaline inducing, and we were waiting around for an hour for the people who met at split, I’ve given this experience five stars, as it was the people who made it. They were calm, funny and warm. Jure/Yuri (not sure on spelling) was was a star. My only regret is he never told us where to eat in split at the end of the tour!! 😂😭

What a fantastic fun way to see the Croatian countryside, highly recommend. Our rafting company was Adventure Dalmatia and they were excellent, we were a family of four and with us was a guide called Ivan who was brilliant at helping us guide our raft, but also so interesting in hearing all about Croatia when we had a chance during the calm parts of the river. Really good fun and definitely a highlight of our holiday.

Really great tour. Good equipment with shoes and wetsuit pans included that many other companies do not offer. Transportation time to departure point is only about 15 min and then you have 11km of river in front of you. The Crew around it is fluent in english and does a fantastic job guiding , helping and rescuing you in all matters and with a big smile. Also they handle all equipment for you and jump in the water to photo you. I went with my two sons and we got our own boat. It was fun to learn how to navigate the raft, however don’t bring anything on the boat as you WILL get wet.

A fun trip

We got our own raft with 3 people and we struggled a lot the first 10-20 minutes, but then we did better and from the we had a blast. You should probably put on sunscreen, even if you don't think you need it.

Easy to book, clear instructions. The rafting was great fun, well organised, all equipment (wet suit) provided. Once equipment collected, they drive you a short 10 minutes away to the starting point. Overt 3 hours of rafting. My first time and they explain things and have instructors with you. Great fun when the sun is shining and I recommend.

Our guides Marin, Damjan and Dean did an outstanding job on the tour. My family had so much fun. Dean my guide for our boat was very knowledgeable with the river and all the wildlife there. If your looking for a great time that won’t break the bank this is it.
