Informative and Enjoyable

Robyn_L, Aug 2025
Goran was an amazing guide! We hit all the highlights of 2 beautiful towns and then relaxed at a winery with gorgeous views. We would never have been able to see everything that we did if we ventured off on our own. While driving, Goran also shared information on historical places that we passed and spoke about his experiences growing up. Highly recommend!

Keep Searching for a Tour

Regina_O, Jun 2025
We were a group of 11 but separated into two cars. Since this was described as a private tour, I assumed we would all be together in one vehicle. Those of us who did not ride with the guide/driver therefore did not hear any of the information he shared during the rides. The walking tours of Split and Trogir were not as informative as I would have expected, and I have done many of these types of tours in other cities. Our guide also lacked enthusiasm and passion which I believe contributed to the lackluster tours of the old towns. Also, while it was visibly pointed out to us, we did not actually go to and “explore” one of the Game of Thrones filming sites although it was described as being part of the tour.

Response from Host, Jul 2025

Thank you for your feedback, and we're sorry to hear the tour didn’t fully meet your expectations. The reason two cars were used is because the road leading to the wine tasting location is a narrow village street that doesn’t allow larger vehicles. To include this part of the tour, we had to use smaller cars. Regarding the Game of Thrones site – it is mentioned during the tour, and the guide is happy to show it in more detail if guests express interest. We’re sorry if the walking tours felt lacking. We'll take your comments seriously and share them with the guide. We still hope you enjoyed the rest of the experience and the beautiful sights of the region.

Beautiful tour with wonderful guide

We had the most amazing tour guide: Ivana!!! We were on a cruise and she met us right outside the cruise dock and we started our adventure. She was so knowledgeable about Split and Trogir and the history, culture, and food! We have taken other private tours but this one was all of our favorites!

Response from Host, Mar 2025

Tour of Split and its surroundings accompanied by a wine tasting event

Dora_A, Sep 2024
This tour is given by a wonderful and knowledgeable tour guide who provided us with even more historical facts beyond those from previous tours of Split. Trogir is a must visit location on the outskirts of Split not only because of its natural beauty but also because of its rich history as an interesting extention that of Split's. The wine tasting event is located on a hill with a breathtaking view of both Trogir and Split further back in the horizon. It consists of a detailed presentation of 3 types of wines accompanied by an assortment of cold cuts on a platter. The wines are locally made and bear the best this area of Balkans can contribute to the top of the list of competitive wines. This tour is highly recommended if you're interested in learning more about Split and immerse yourself in the local culture.

Trogir is indeed a must-visit, and we’re glad you appreciated its charm and connection to Split’s history. The wine tasting experience, with its stunning hilltop view, is always a highlight, and we’re happy to hear that you enjoyed the local wines and delicacies. We take great pride in showcasing the best that this region has to offer. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you again in the future! Best regards, Kristina

Private Tour of Trogir and Old Town of Split with Private Wine Tasting

Karen_K, Jun 2024
Our pickup was seamless and our guide was pleasant and knowledgeable. Our wine tasting got pushed by 45 - 60 minutes by the winery so our guide needed to fill an hour gap of time by showing us an old olive tree in town. Our guide also sat with us during our wine tasting (and shared the food that we were served) not a problem but wondered if that was paid for by our large private tour fee…..my husband and I thought that this time would have been just for us to be alone and visit with each other and the wine maker. This wasn’t a “private” wine tasting as we were seated next to another couple and another family with 3 little ones. Tour of Trogir and old Town of Split were good. It was a long day but informative.

Response from Host, Mar 2025

Dear Karen, Thank you for your detailed feedback! We’re glad to hear that you had a seamless pickup and that you enjoyed the knowledge and company of your guide. On the day of your tour, there was indeed a lot of traffic and a scheduling adjustment made by the winery, which resulted in a slight shift in the timing of your wine tasting. To ensure that you made the most of your time, we took you to see the oldest olive tree in the region, a unique historical landmark that many guests find fascinating. We’d like to clarify that your tour itself was fully private, meaning that your guide and transportation were exclusively for you. However, reserving an entire winery exclusively for just two guests would require a significantly higher cost, as wineries typically accommodate multiple visitors at a time. Regarding your guide joining the tasting, this is a standard courtesy from the winery, and it does not come from your tour fee. Many guests enjoy having the guide present, as it allows them to ask additional questions and enhance the experience. However, we completely understand your perspective and appreciate the feedback. We truly appreciate your time in sharing your experience and for choosing our tour. We hope you had a wonderful stay in Split and Trogir! Best regards, Kristina

Really interesting sites but tour guide needed more experience.

Offthebucketlist, Jun 2019
Adriatic Vision guide only in business 3 months but knew her history ok. Seemed to hit all important places, even in rain. Needs more experience.
