In advance of the tour, we sent multiple Viator messages, wrote an email, and called the provided number 5+ times. We did not select a pickup point because we were already going to be in Rila and wanted to meet there, so we asked where would be best to meet the local guide. No one responded to any of these inquiries, no one reached out to us via the phone number I provided, and so ultimately my husband and I did not go on this tour. (Despite having paid for it!) We had a great day in Rila by ourselves, but there was absolutely no communication from the vendor which was really disappointing.

O passeio não aconteceu pois o teleferico que nos levaria aos lagos estava fechado em virtude dos fortes ventos. Faltou atitude da empresa/guia, de obter informações sobre o tempo no local . Viajamos por horas, perdemos nosso dia. depois vimos que já estava sendo divulgado localmente que não era recomendado o passeio e não fomos avisados. Na minha opinião todo o valor pago deveria ser devolvido.

However, we'd like to clarify a few points mentioned in your review. Before the tour, we provided weather information and offered cancelation of the tour and full refund due to the anticipated adverse weather conditions. You confirmed your decision to proceed with the tour despite the weather advisory. Regrettably, upon arrival, the cable car remained closed due to safety concerns. Contrary to your claim of lack of information, we had provided warnings about the local conditions, and our guides were continuously monitoring the situation. Upon the closure of the lift, our guide took proactive measures to offer an alternative hiking experience on the Beli Iskar Eco trail that you have enjoyed. Subsequently, considering the impact on your day and to ensure you still had an enriching experience, our team provided additional visits to Borovets resort and Samokov town. These supplementary visits incurred significant expenses for our company, including covering an additional 170 km beyond the initially planned itinerary. We understand your frustration and regret that the tour did not meet your expectations. We strive to ensure our customers have the best experience possible and will take your feedback into account to improve our communication further in adverse circumstances.
