Lots of fun. Quick tour to see sights lit up at night in a warm car was great. Group was small and guides were very friendly. Restaurant was in the outskirts so nice to see that part of the city. Dinner was yummy and kitschy fun. Teens enjoyed it a lot.

Great way to start our trip! Guide was super friendly and answered all our questions. She gave us good ideas of locations to check out on our own. Dinner location was amazing. Loved the entertainment. Guide did a good job explaining the food. Chicken was a bit bland but rest was delicious.

Started nice, the pick up from the hotel, the guide and the psnoremic tour was O.K but thsn we arrived to the restaurant. We got nice mixed salad with Boulgarian cheese on top, was good and now, the traditional meal was 4 small chicken pieces with backed potatos, thats it! No traditional added, no any sald, no the traditional pikled vegetables that we got for free at any restaurant in our visit in Bulgarian! It was our last night after a week traveling arround and we were very disappointed from this TRADITIONAL DENNER. I didn't mention that the desert was something we didn't realy understand but maybe was lacal desert. I can say that it was nice dinner but for sure nothing to do with tradition and the whole deal was very expensive.
I would like to mention that our guide Niki was good and the restaurant was nice with a show but! not the dinner.

Pick up for our hotel, driver took us to sights around Sofia, which we were able to to get out with out fabulous guide Deni ( we were on her afternoon delight tour earlier in the week, which i recommend.) Her knowledge and enthusiasm was great. We were lucky it was just the 3 of us , so it felt like a private tour.. Deni was funny, understood our humor, and made the whole experience more enjoyable. After eh sight seeing , we were taken to the Meal and Folklore part of the evening. The meal was fantastic, and the venue up in the mountains was a delight. We saw traditional dancing and another show, which I wont tell you about as don't want to spoil the surprise.

We enjoyed the knowledge of our guide. We were taken to 3 locations and while we had been to each of those throughout our visit we learned more. The folklore dinner was very good! The music and dancing were very nice! The fire walking was the icing on the cake! We couldn’t believe our eyes!

Pete was an excellent guide and an incredible historian. He was very personable. I felt like it was a night out with an old friend. The topper was dinner with folklore dancing and the liocals spontaneously got up and danced also

We were picked up at the hotel by Denitsa, who was very knowledgeable about the city. She provided us with information about the history of Bulgaria. We had the opportunity to visit historical places and learned about the evolution of the government throughout the centuries. Finally, we drove to the mountains were we had a delicious Bulgarian dinner and enjoy the music and dances of their people. It was a magnificent evening. Highly recommend.

What a great night. A short tour of the city followed by a meal in a traditional Bulgarian restaurant up in the Vitosha Mountain followed by traditional Bulgarian music and dancing made for an excellent night of entertainment

It’s starts with an 1hour tour around the city to see the main interesting points and de go to the restaurant! The main plate was a bit cold but all the rest was fine! 60€ May be a but expensive for what it is...

Drive around for 1 hour looking at churches. Was pretty boring to be honest. Then went to a blatant tourist trap restaurant where they tried to sell me a bottle of cheap wine for $50. Food arrived and the chicken was raw in the middle! Sent it back to the kitchen. The music started. 2 tired ugly banshees put on an embarrassing performance at the back of the room. The food came back. Waiter (who was very rude) came back with the food. Asked me to check in front of him. I did, and it was still pink in the middle. Never seen anything like it in my life! I would never trust the food in the place again. I’d be surprised if the other 50 tourists in there aren’t all in hospital now. Suffice to say, we just got up and left. Viator has already given me a full refund for this tour. I do not write this as leverage to get a refund, I write it just to warn you all. This is the worst tour I have ever done, anywhere on the planet. I’ve done thousands. Appalling.

I highly recommend the tour. pickup on time, very nice young guide with a very good English and great acknowledgment of Bulgarian and Sofia history, made the evening tour very interesting. The local, food and show were very good and rounded up a surprising evening

I was picked up promptly by a very charming young man in a air conditioned car with two lovely Chinese ladies sat in the back. We did a tour of Sofia and the guide was informative and friendly. He helped the Chinese ladies who ,as it well known, like to take lots and lots of pictures. During the walk around the city centre not only did he help fellow travellers who were lost but aided a lady who had fallen on the cobbles.
the folklore dinner was certainly different and the rakia to start with certainly helped. i was lucky as the ladies didnt care for it so I helped them out but equally I dont like dessert so they had my apple struedel type pudding. The dancers were lovely and I even had a go myself. On the way home the guide also showed me where the opera house was as I was hoping to go there after my Plovdiv trip but sadly I was too late back to partake of that. The trip was a bit pricey but I thoroughly enjoyed the night. Its a pity I cannot remember the guides name but he teaches in London and does the guiding in the holidays

We thoroughly enjoyed this evening....the show itself was very impressive and nothing was too much trouble for our guide, who stayed with us throughout the evening. He really did go the extra mile to ensure that we could take the best photographs possible, even stopping on the way back to the hotel after the show for us to photograph floodlit buildings. He was polite and friendly throughout, explaining the meanings/symbolism behind the dancing and costumes. Our advice would be to have a light lunch beforehand....the meal is delicious, but consists of four rather large courses and we were struggling by the end of it! Highly recommended way to spend an evening whilst in Sofia..

Very good experience with kind tour guide Giordana, who made a previous night tour by car explaining many things from Sofia, specially the Communist time and the many historical buildings, monuments and historical references to the gold time of the Communism in Bulgaria. The dinner is a typical Bulgarian meal accompanied with folklorical dances, several of them being from Macedonia, which were the ones I most enjoyed

El tour es una tomadura de pelo y un robo. El coche no para, apenas ves nada. De lejisimos y a oscuras. Una vergüenza. La mayoría de sitios los ves desde lejos y sin luz. Vaya, que en internet se ve mejor. El menú lo puedes tomar en cualquier restaurante por menos de 20€ y tirando por lo alto. Y el espectáculo son cuatro bailarines con trajes típicos como los que ves en la calle en cualquier sitio. Las cuatro horas que pone se quedaron en dos y media. El paseo no pasó de 20 minutos a toda prisa por cuatro o cinco calles, dando vueltas. Un verdadero robo, no lo aconsejo nada. El guía, aunque pagamos porque fuera en español, solo hablaba inglés. Tuvimos que ir a recoger a otro, aún perdimos más tiempo. De los edificios, que ni ves, se intuyen, te explica datos históricos, sobre todo fechas, nada que no esté en la wikipedia. El tur no merece más de 15€, si es que merece algo. En un pequeño paseo andando por el centro ves mejor la ciudad

El guía espectacular! La información que tenía de primera mano. Muy amable. Se contacto con nosotros directamente. Tuvo la gentileza de buscarnos la comida vegetariana. Lo qué hay que hacer al llegar. Además de las zonas turísticas también nos mostró las de día a día!
