It can take more than 40 minutes to board the Night Safari tram, but your skip-the-line admission ticket ensures priority boarding. Start your nighttime safari with hotel pickup, then board the tram to explore 98 acres (40 hectares) of rainforest habitat located next to the Singapore Zoo.
Travel from the Himalayan foothills to the Southeast Asian rainforest, each carefully designed to replicate natural habitats and subtly lit to mimic the moonlight. Search for feline hunters—including Malayan tigers, a Gir lion and a pair of Sri Lankan leopards—as well as other nocturnal creatures such as spotted hyenas, red river hogs and Australian wallabies. Then get up close to more forest animals on a guided safari walking trail.
Dig into the international buffet for dinner at the onsite restaurant. Enjoy the tropical ambiance of burnished wooden beams and rustic rattan fans, or dine al fresco to a symphony of cicadas, frogs and other night creatures while a herd of Ankole cattle grazes nearby.
One of two stage performances is included with your admission (see below). Afterward, the coach returns you to your hotel.

Very disorganized. Guide told us to check tram wait times instead of priority boarding. Dinner was crowded cafeteria buffet. Told us we could stay longer and get ourselves home if we wanted to see more. Transportation was the only good thing. If you are already at the zoo stay for the night safari otherwise skip this tour. Dark path very few animals no time for the tram unless we wanted to pay to get home. Food was not very good and very crowded as everyone jumps in line at once. I have booked several tours through Viator all excellent. This one is a dud.

sadly, this tour did not live up to our expectations.
our driver arrived almost 45 minutes late to pick us up, and there was absolutely no communication from the tour operator to inform us of any delay. We attempted to contact them multiple times by phone and message through aviator but it was after hours, and we couldn't get a response.
We were about to give up but the driver finally showed up—without an apology—just telling us to hurry up.
We had purchased tickets that included a BBQ dinner, which turned out to be a huge letdown. The dinner was buffet-style and the food was below average. There was nothing BBQ about it; I’d recommend opting for food from the restaurants in the main court instead.
Since we were running late and had to rush through dinner, we didn't have enough time to see the show. While the animals were interesting to see, the train moved too fast to get a good look, and by the time you spotted an animal in the darkness, we were already passing by—definitely not conducive for decent photos
Although our guide was friendly, the overall experience felt rushed and left me feeling like I had wasted my money. I expected a much better-organized tour and a more enjoyable evening. I hope my feedback helps others make a more informed decision.

First would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused. Our Night Safari Tour with Buffet Dinner has always been Buffet not BBQ so we are not sure where you received the information that its BBQ dinner.
Secondly, we will investigate on the transport delay as there was no report that there was a delay.
Lastly, we are a 3rd party so we do not have control on the quality & quantity of food hope you understand but having said that we will share your feedback to Mandai Wildlife Group and hopefully they will improve on the quality of food.

The trip overall was great but we had booked with dinner which was really rushed. We were late getting to the zoo because of traffic so why not adjust the time for an earlier pick-up so that you can enjoy a more relaxed dinner and see the show. There wasn't time to do both and we had to bolt down our dinner. Having said that our guide Jacqueline was great and the safari enjoyable. Just some adjustment to the pick-up time and I would have added a couple of stars to the overall rating.

We planned to do an earlier pick up but the situation is that the Night Safari opens only at 7:15 pm so we do not wish for customers to arrive early and wait for a long time. We had already feedback this to the supplier as well.

We were told it would be meal, show and safari. There were 10 others in the group but we were the only ones to have dinner included. The guide told us we would go straight for the meal whilst the others went to the show then we would meet up to do the safari. I asked when we would see the show, she said we wouldn't have time to do both. I said we've paid for the 3 things and want to do all 3. She said if we ate quickly we might have time to do the safari as soon as we finished eating then see the later show. We agreed that we could eat fast- there was mushroom soup but no bowls, there was a good selection of food but we were told the guide would be back in 10mins. We had no time to have a drink with dinner and although there were lots of desserts we didn't have time to even look at them. The guide came to collect us and took us to the front of the queue for the safari. We didn't get a chance to see all the animals as we had moved on by the time your eyes managed to spot them. We then went to the show which was very good. We spoke to the rest of the group afterwards and they were all disappointed

First would like to sincerely apologize for any unpleasant experience during your Night Safari Tour. We usually separate our tour with dinner and without dinner only when everyone reaches the Safari. The attraction also opens at 7:15 so timing is really rush and we are not in control of the timings within Safari as we have to follow their itinerary once our guests enter the attraction venue.
We had feedback to our supplier with regards to your experience and we hope they will improve on the dinner requirements and also the limited timing for each stop.

We were picked up 30 minutes late, which meant we were rushed at dinner and missed the show. The guide was nice and the food was good. But if things were done on time then we wouldn’t have missed the show.

Very expensive for the short time of the experience. If you don’t mind heat, humidity and humongous crowds, Night Safari was amazing with excellent commentary. Jackie our tour guide was knowledgeable and very caring toward our small group. Only downside was the rushed buffet dinner allowing us only less than 45 minutes to finish our meal. Although a short duration, the highlight of the evening were the fire dancers. Absolutely amazing!

The $50 Singapore buffet was awful. Steam table food at its worst. The animal show was interesting since they were unusual species to me. However, couldn’t understand a word of the narrative so it wasn’t educational. Typical save the planet platitudes while they made money off keeping animals for show.

This was the worst tour excursion I have experienced. We were supposed to be picked up 5.45pm left singapore @ 6 40pm. We had booked for dinner so obviously we missed dinner to be able to see the show & tram. Very poor service organisation please I would appreciate someone to contact me as still this morning after ringing I can get no one in customer service. We arrived @ 6.55pm and then back on the bus @ 9.30pm.

This was our first time in Singapore and our night safari tour was very rushed and we had very little time to do what we wanted. We also missed out on seeing shows which was apart of our tour. Our tour guide Paul was very helpful and knowledgeable on what was happening. But I can assure you I will not be booking ever again through Viator for any of my tours. It was very disappointing.

It was lovely to see the nocturnal animals whilst we were on the train. We thought there would have been more, but what we saw we enjoyed.
The show with the nocturnal animals was also good. We’ve never seen some of these as we’ve mainly attended during the day.

Paul was a wonderful guide. He negotiated with the group what was going to happen during the night & organised meeting points & time. As there were over 4000 people at the park on this particular night, Paul ensured that everyone enjoyed the Night Safari

The tour operator cancelled it at the last minute.. This is terrible. We plan our side trips when we visit other countries... Thus when a trip is cancelled for only not many guests it is BAD... Viator should be careful to allocate space to such tour operators... The visitor is not given a choice for any other trip and he/she are literally left in the lurch !!!

Singapore Night safari and dinner. A wonderful time was had by us as we cruised quietly through the enclosures of the zoo.
An enjoyable and delicious meal was provided buffet style which ended with two guys with firesticks putting on a great show.
All in all a fabulous night out.

The pick up was prompt and driver was informative of next steps . Went to a central point in a hotel where we were given badges and groups for dining or non dining guests. I was in purple dining group - small about 6 people in total. The guides were ok - English was not fluent and they both could have given a bit more informative information. Maybe give a guide leaflet out on coach and plan tour night before you get there. The trip need extended by at least 40mins to catch the show and do the trails and see the shop the 10pm prompt pick up is too early - it’s an experience that’s fab but some of the older guests could not walk to the pace required to do the long walk plus the tram plus the show.
The food in the package was buffet and absolutely fine lots of choice.
It was good night but needs to be longer by 30mins earlier for food as it’s still light then 30mins to do the show and shop then get to coach - so defo a 5.30pm hotel pick up required and better info / guides to be given before you arrive so you can PLAN your night

The whole night was very rushed. 15 mins to enjoy the buffet. The tram ride seeing the animals was excellent. Had no time at the end to look around or buy souvenirs. Very Disappointing.

Dinner buffet was decent with selections from many cultures, but limited withing the culture. I don't like the hotel pickup system because you end up going to a collection point and then put on a different bus. Same thing with the return to the hotel. Animal viewing was pretty good with very few animals not visible.

The Night Safari was a unique experience! This proved to be an opportunity to view the animals when they were at rest in the twilight of the evening. We got a chance to see the animals close up and you almost felt like you were intruding on their space. It was an exciting and pleasant evening.

The food provided was cold, unappealing and tasteless. We were picked up at our hotel, taken to another hotel, put on a bus to the safari and rushed through the exhibits. Our guide was knowledgeable but kept leaving us . Overall if you want to see the animals I would go on my own with a taxi

First of all, the buffet was excellent!!! It was a huge buffet with lots of variety; a little bit of everything. However, it goes without saying that our whole purpose for being there was for the safari, and that was pretty disappointing. We didn't think there were very many animals, and those that were there were very difficult to see. It was virtually impossible to take photographs. I can understand why flash photography wasn't allowed, but I guess I just expected for the lighting to be better. It was so hard to see anything, and we felt like we spent a lot of money bu didn't see very much. Likewise, we have no pictures for memories. The Creatures of the Night show was a joke. It had absolutely nothing to do with any creatures of the night, and it should really be renamed to something like "Environmental Awareness". It was a strange show, and between that and the "safari", we found the whole experience kinda boring and not worth what we paid for it. Since this was the tour we were looking forward to the most, it was certainly disappointing.

The hotel pick up was OK but then we had to change buses. The return bus was very confusing and guide difficult to understand. The bus took us back to the wrong hotel and we had to get a taxi for $15.
The buffet dinner was poor with very luke warm food. The choice was not good and drinks expensive.
The safari was as expected but not so exhilarating.

Zoo is wonderful. All ages really enjoyed it. Going on the trails after the tram was a highlight. Tram was fun. Food was pretty good. Tour was well organized.

A great night out. Everything ran on time. Natalie our guide was friendly and very informative. Dinner was delicious. Lots of choice and our young grandson loved it. Tram ride was fun, also walks and show.

I was advised not to go on this tour as it was a waste of time. I agree. Besides Dinner, which was okay to good, the tram ride was not. It was nice to ride through the dark and look in at empty brightly lit areas, but hardly any animals seen. Why? Most of the animals are not nocturnal by nature and even though their habitats were brightly lit, no show. No complaints on tour guide nor was it the tour operator's fault. Nature is nature. The place was very crowded as well, so getting a spot to see the fire-dance/show was impossible.
