Very worth it if you are able to withstand the long journey and know what to expect. The tour was a series of well organized and efficient transportation, very knowledgeable guide, good lunch stop and of course the amazing world heritage site of Petra. —>Things to expect: a full 24 hour journey with pickup in the middle of the night with exact time confirmed about 12 hours before, return in the middle of the night, multiple vehicle transfers, multiple passport and security checks, long lines, waves on the sea. Bring enough food and water for yourself to eat between stops. A neck pillow for the van/bus, sweatshirt and nausea medicine if you need it. Each leg is about 1-2hrs between stops, probably 5 each way. One mile walk from Petra ticket station to the treasury, plus return walk. You can pay for a golf cart or a horse if you can’t walk, around $20USD each way. There is food at the Petra visitor center and cafe at the treasury. You will mostly only have time to see the Treasury as the major attraction, as other parts of the ancient site are too far away from the main area to see during the short trip.

A great trip with an extremely knowledgeable guide. Be prepared to be dropped at a "marina" in the middle of nowehere on the Egyptian side which leaves you feeling a bit apprehensive - all part of the experience. Sadly, we were "treated" to two 45 minute "rest stops" which were primraily aimed at selling us souvenirs, thereby reducing the time I would have rather spent at the end point in Petra. There was insufficient time to explore much past the Treasury and an extra 45 minutes would have made a huge difference. When booking, our agent advised the ticket price include a horse and cart to/from the Siq. However, these have been replaced by golf buggies, which charge $15 each way. The guide advised the tickets did include a horseback ride from the visitor center to the Siq, but we were required to give a $5-10 tip each way - hardly free, If I had to do it again, I would hire a car and go in a group,

This experience is 100% worth it but it is not for the weak. You will be tired and you will most likely be hungry. You get picked up around 1am they then hand you all the paperwork you will need and you start your journey to the port to get on the ferry which was about 3 hours then you will go through security before getting on the boat which was about an hour ride after the boat ride you will go through security again and receive your visa to enter jordan which is included in this tour (no extra fee), after that you will meet with your guide which is based on language and get on another bus for about 3 hours they do stop twice one for a view and the other at a shop to get coffee, snacks, and souvenirs, once you arrive to petra they will split you up with your guides again according to language and you then start your journey its about an hour hike (very easy hike) and our guide Zaid was very knowledgeable and informative we loved him! After you get to the wonder itself he gives you about 20 minutes to see it for yourself then continues the tour down to see more of the city itslef which was only about another 10 minutes then you are free to explore for about 2 hours before needing to go back to the bus just remember its about an hour hike back but if needed a horse ride is included in your ticket you just have to tip the guy who brings you on the horse, once back on the bus they will bring you to a restaurant to have buffet style food (included) then you will begin your journey back. All in all it was a very organized and enjoyable trip for us no complaints just keep in mind its long and you may be tired so if thats not for you then i wouldn’t book. We loved it and always remember YOLO.

I was very happy to take part in this tour. Our guide on the bus until the port in Egypt was not very nice and only spoke Russian, but in Jordan we had a guide for Petra and he was very nice. On the way to Jordan there were waves so the boat was moving a lot and I was very sick, bring motion sickness medicine although the way back was very calm. Petra was amazing, we had 4 hours there, 2 with the guide and 2 on our own.

While the town of petra is amazing, I noticed that the guidance provided in English was limited compared to other languages. Additionally, the pace of the tour felt a bit fast.

Terrible trip booked English guide 70 % of time was Russian guide. English guide left bus 4 hours before Jordan trip ended, lousy food, lousy bus.

Unfortunately cannot leave zero stars. Tour operator was disorganised from start to finish. Kept changing pickup times, asking for passport copies and hotel names (even though already supplied). Totally cancelled the trip once with less than 3 hours notice. On rescheduled date (which was not negotiable and caused us issues) they turned up over an hour early (we were still asleep in bed) and gave us no time to get ready. Abysmal disaster.

Dear Valuable Guest, It's normal when you booked petra tour we need hotel name and copy passport. We have asked you many times to sent us copy passport and you keep sent to us by email view the company you booked with them and we tried to open it but it not working and we have asked you to sent us by whatsapp. The guide come to pick up you but you refuse to go on the tour we keep calling you and we contact you by whats-app and the guide go pick up other people and come back again for you and you also refuse to go one the tour.

This was a 24 hour trip so quite enduring but Petra turned out to be far more than I expected. 2 or 3 days are really needed to appreciate it fully so this was an invaluable ‘taster’ visit. The travel arrangements were fine but it was along way on buses and the ferry just to get 3.5hrs walking down into and back out of Petra.

Petra is an incredible place to visit and this tour was the perfect way to do it from Sharm. It was a long day of travel but we had a great time and the guides were knowledgeable. Check the weather! It can get very cold depending on the season and some of our group members were unprepared.

Nos deixaram nos ônibus para Taba, guia sempre acompanhando. Transferência para Aqaba, outro guia de prontidao. Muito agradável, polido, bem informado. Esteve conosco todo o tempo. Almoço gostoso. Retorno tranquilo. PERFEITO!!! Mas um aviso, Petra é para os fortes, principalmente na volta. Ou não suba em um cavalo ou carrinho. Ao todo 25 hs desde a saída do hotel até o retorno. Valeu a pena cada minuto!!!

La experiencia que tuvimos en el tour fue pésima y no lo recomendaría. Primero porque el trato del guía inicial fue horrible, nos trato mal, nos miro mal, nos hablo con sarcasmo y fue totalmente desagradable. Ademas pagamos por un tour en inglés y el 80% del tour lo hicieron en RUSO. Cuando nos acercamos a pedir que por favor nosotros hemos contratado un tour en ingles, el guía no quería cambiarnos de grupo y fue bastante agresivo com sus respuestas. El ultimo guía que tuvimos acepto que nos uniéramos a su tour en ingles y con el finalizamos. Una experiencia mala.
