Painful confusing experience, not recommended

I don't recommend. Staff spoke limited English and weren't able to explain instructions or procedures or answer basic questions. When I didn't understand what the masseuse was saying at times she became impatient and at times would speak harshly to me or try to reposition me roughly. The jacuzzi was lukewarm rather than hot. Water was thrown on my head without asking during the scrub part of the day. My husband was fortunately given the option to not have water thrown on his head and opted out but I was asked no such thing. While my husband and I enjoyed the scrub and mask part of the experience, the massage itself was for me very unpleasant. I found it incredibly painful and the masseuse didn't understand when I asked her to be softer. She kept pinching me through the towel which I don't understand to be a massage technique. When I asked her to stop doing that and explained I didn't like it and that it was too painful, she said ok and then did it twice again towards the end of the massage. Either she didn't understand or it was deliberate, I don't know but I didn't much care for the experience and left tenser than I arrived.

Affected Overall Experience

I have to point out two serious issues that affected my overall experience. First, the Spa Manager tried to charge me €10 in government taxes, even though the legal amount is €5. This left a bad impression, as it felt like an attempt to overcharge. Second, the service was supposed to be carried out by a male therapist, which was part of the original booking. Without informing me or asking for my consent, a female therapist was assigned instead. While she did a great job, it was not what was agreed upon. Due to these issues, I cannot give the full five stars, despite the excellent performance of the therapist herself. The massage itself was excellent, and the therapist was very skilled and professional. I truly appreciated the quality of her service and the care she put into the treatment.

Had an amazing experience start to end, especially the massage at the end which I received from Ahmed who is extremely helpful experienced in finding any issues and knots and resolving them with his magical hand’s and techniques. Ended up booking another two follow up sessions in the following days and would definitely recommend to family and friends! By far, the best spa experience in sharm el sheikh!
