Rum & Beer tour canceled the morning of the scheduled tour. I was disappointed. Waiting on a refund.
We all had a great time! The Rum Cake factory was delicious and fun! The woman who ran the demonstration was so knowledgeable and the cake was delicious! The 2 nd stop at the rim distillery was a blast! The young woman who ran the tour was hilarious and made it so much fun! She knew so much about each rum flavor and made the experience amazing! The lunch was delicious! Our tour guide for the experience OJ was also amazing and lots of fun! Highly recommend!!

This tour began at 2pm. Since it included a waterfront lunch, we assumed the group would eat first. The tour began at Tortuga Rum, with an emphasis on the cakes. When I asked about lunch, I was advised that would be served after 4. Knowing we would be drinking on an empty stomach, we were literally forced to purchase food offered at this place. The tour guide told us in advance that the Jamaican Beef Patties they sold were the best! It’s a good thing they were decent because otherwise we would have needed to wait until after the drinking to eat. Following the rum tasting, I inquired about the beer tasting. It was then explained that due to regulation changes, this was no longer included in the tour. Instead we went to the restaurant for lunch and offered beer there. Overall experience was very disappointing.
We had so much fun at the rum distillery. The rum cake place was not so great. The tour guide didn’t know what each machine was called. They were not making cakes at the time either. Seemed like just a way to sell cakes.
At the distillery they were upbeat and fun. They knew .what they were talking about and the samples were generous. My only suggestion would be a chair for us older folks. Didn’t even mind that it was crowded. They made it work!
Nicolas are driver was excellent. Good information and very friendly. Also the tour guide at the rum distillery was awesome!!
We paid $26 for a cab to go to the meeting point. We waited outside for the driver for half an hour. We sat inside the van for 15 more minutes. The driver then advised us that the tour would not be happening because none of the sites were open. Therefore, we never had the tour. How do we get reimbursed US $26 for the cab ride?
We had probably the best possible experience with this tour. It was just me and my wife and our guide David. He showed us the best time. He was very personable and professional. His knowledge of the island and his personality made this a one of a kind experience and I would be surprised if anyone on the island that day had as good a time as my wife and I.
Our tour guide and driver made us very comfortable and was very informative with answering all of our questions. The guides at tortuga and cayman rum distillery were Great! They were very knowledgable about their products and made it interesting and fun.
Was canceled with no notice. Showed up at the meeting location and no one was there. Then got a text four hours later stating the tour was still on. No refund as of yet for a party of ten.

Ended up canceling on us for not having enough people signed up for the tour. Issue was they never reached out via phone or email so paid cab fare and had to call them 15 min after start time. When called claimed they tried to reach out but there wasn’t any evidence of it. Only event that canceled on us with weather and everything in Cayman Islands. Disappointing.

Mostly everything I tried I liked! I loved the coffee liqueur and the gingerbread rum! Their Amaretto is really, really good and I don’t normally like Amaretto. I probably would’ve bought 3-4 bottles had I any room in my suitcase. Am home two weeks later and still sad I don’t have coffee liqueur.
We were a group of 4 and we were from a cruise ship. I actually don’t recommend this tour if your boat leaves at 5:30 like ours did. We were 30 seconds away from missing our tender. But, if you have the time, this tour is great. We enjoyed the rum cake factory and the restaurant too! Most of the food was really good per my group - we had a variety. I think it helped we were all pretty inebriated from the rum tour because my husband and friends all claimed whatever they ordered was the best of that item they’d ever had. The rum drinks we ordered were awesome! I would like to go back to all of these places next time I am on Grand Cayman!
Leo has been like a friend for years and I highly recommend him for any professional business!! The Cayman Spirit business is awesome, especially with my favorite hilarious Croatian tour guide!
Enjoyed going to the distillery and doing rum shots. Bartender was hilarious. Several rum shots. The dark rum was our favorite. Leo, our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Absolutely fun and five star experience. From the moment we got on the bus, to the tour and tastings, to the rum cake and souvenirs, the experience was so much fun. Mishkov was wonderful and totally made the experience at the distillery memorable. He was funny, informative, and made us all feel like family! Highly recommend and will definitely come back again. The tour management was also great and helped me find the location to meet and provided a picture of the gazebo we were to catch the tour bus at. The gentleman driving the bus was so amazing also, providing us with a local beer and even took us to our cars after. Additionally, the lunch was AMAZING at the sandbar, we made new friends and the food was incredible. We went back for lunch a second time! Thank you for a wonderful and memorable experience.
A little disappointed in tour. The Beer part of tour was from a cooler in bus. Rum tasting at Distillary was highlight of tour. Actual tour of distillary was short and only slightly informative. Tour leader and distillary leader were both very outgoing and nice.

I never made it on my tour the tour was changed to 2pm my ship returned time was 3:30pm there’s no was I was going to make this. I’m very disappointed
The Seven Fathoms rum Distillery tour was great! Very knowledgeable guide and the rum was delicious. We stopped briefly at the Tortuga Rum Co retail shop, which was a waste of time. The lunch was good, but I would have preferred something away from the hustle & bustle of the cruise port. And there was no beer tour. A stop at the Cayman Brewery would have made this tour excellent!

The rum tour is a must do while visiting the Cayman Islands. I never knew how delicious rum could be, and we got to try so many amazing variations. Also, every person we encountered was so friendly and made the entire day so much fun.
I would 100% recommend that anyone on vacation does this tour.
It was good tour. I think it has room for improvement around coordination. Tour didn’t start till 2p but lunch was actually at 4p. One of the tastings was scheduled with another scheduled public tour which made the tasting a bit messy with the amount of people. We were also in a time crunch so we missed out on half of the tastings for one the stops.

Our tour guide Gio was absolutely great! He was very knowledgeable about the island and kept us on track to be back to the ship on time. If you like to try different alcohol and learn how they are made this is a great tour for you. Very personal experience since it was just two of us on the tour.
Our guides were great and the experience was wonderful. We really enjoyed the restaurant and the tasting.
It as off the chain our tour guide was great. We danced and partied and sampled so many great rums,vodkas, bourbon, and learned so much about the process to making liquor. Tour bus had cooler full of local Cayman beer and water so we stayed hydrated and super faded . Also our tour guide showed little around George town and learned a-lot about the island with him. We definitely bought some to bring back home. We got so faded on the tour we fell asleep at 6 pm once we got back to the kimpton sea fire resort. This is definitely a must do for your trip, lunch was not the best but the boos and entertainment made it worth it.
Probably one of the best distillery tours I've ever been on The guides provided a very in depth and knowledgeable about the rum and how it was made tastings were very generous and I enjoyed them very much but having said that there were some problems number one this tour did not start until 2:00 p.m. we had to be back on our ship by 5:00 this meant we had to rush to get back to the boat by 5:15 to make our last tender to catch our ship also the lunch was supposed to come with beer tasting no beer was offered but other than that a good time
We never went to the beach club as the tour stated. It was only a 3 hour tour bu advertised as half day

I'm sorry that you didn't get to go to the beach.
Unfortunately, this tour no longer includes beach. We learned that guests would rather spend more time doing the fun stuff (drinking) and less to no time at beach, so we've excluded it form the itinerary. The next time you decide to do this tour and want to visit the beach, please ask the tour driver to drop you off at the beach after the tour. It will be free of charge.

This was a very fun afternoon. First stop was samples of rum and rum cake--so good! Lots of rum and great fun at the distillery. The absolute only thing I'd say is that it's a little hard to hear about the rum-making process. Our driver Gio was THE BEST!
We had Geo as our group coordinator and he was awesome !! Nice kid , very professional . Rum was delicious !
Gio was awesome- so friendly, knowledgeable and kind. Definitely book w it’s him. Rum tasting was so fun. A fun alternative activity from the beach and diving. You WILL be buzzed afterwards.
We had a great time on this tour. Our guide, Leo, was awesome. We learned so much about the island and culture. We got lucky and it was just our group of four on the tour. Highly recommend this, and hope you get Leo as your guide!!
