A great hop on/off tour. Very friendly and knowledgeable tour guides. Touristic is a top notch company. You might mention the online bus tracking app in your original tour description very helpful. Had a bit of difficulty getting the Turistik vouchers for the cable car and funicular, but the tour guides fixed it all. Highly recommended way to see santiago indeed!

    Santiago bus and cable car

    Melanie_G, Apr 2026
Great viewpoint of the city when you go up the cable car and then great to come back down on the funicular railway to pick up the bus again. Great way to see around the city.

    Very handy combi tickets

A good opportunity to seee the sights of Santiago in one go!

    Adele_S, Mar 2026
A great opportunity to get the tickets for the Hop on Hop Off bus, the Cable Car and the Funicular all on one ticket. Despite the heat, the bus was a pleasant temperature, with air conditioning and a canopy to keep the sun off. A good tour with friendly staff.

Tour covers a nice swath of Santiago. Buses are typical Hop on Hop off. Tour narration is clear and well coordinated with bus location. Just make sure you get current route stop information. My map was old and had stops on it they no longer use, but they did stop to pick me up when I waited at one of the old stops

    Great Overview of Santiago

    Margaret_S, Feb 2026
This was a great overview of the interesting sights in Santiago. We rode the whole circuit without getting off until the end. Then we rode the cable car up and the funicular down to the place where we started. One draw back is that there are no signs on the street so it is a little bit difficult to find the stops. You have to play close attention to the intersections on the map. Although the buses seemed to be infrequent, we were able to get on without a long wait. The man who greeted us and announced the stops was very helpful. We felt that we were able to see a lot and have a fulfilling day given our limited time in Santiago. The cable car and funicular were a highlight.

Although I received a confirmation, I did not receive a voucher fr the trip, including cable car and funicular tickets. Fortunately, I found someone very helpful who was able to locate my reservation, determine that the email voucher had been sent to the wrong address, etc. I have taken several hop on hop off tours around the world; this one was mediocre at best, hard to follow to find get on and get off points, did not have an open air top, and had little good information via earphones.

    Difficulty locating bus stops

    Joyce_B, Feb 2026
The bus, cable car and funicular were great. The problem is the bus stops are not marked and difficult to locate.

    Take two days trip

    Sandeep_G, Feb 2026
Took day pass. Buses are nice and clean. Staff friendly. Occasionally audio guide was not working but not a big deal. In retrospect, should have booked two days as cable car and funicular takes almost full day

Great way to see the city. A little difficult to find the bus stops. Took asking four different people to finally find the right spot. But the cable car and the funicular were fun

    Turistik are a fantastic organisation!

    Clare_N, Feb 2026
This is definitely worth doing - great views of Santiago from the funicular and cable car. Unfortunately Viator’s instructions about tickets was really not clear and we had a mix up redeeming our voucher plus they took an hour to answer the live chat when we raised a query. Fortunately Turistik are a fantastic organisation and their staff so helpful and friendly - they resolved everything and they deserve five stars. Arguably you should just buy tickets directly from them. No need to go through Viator. They added no value.

Very pleasant and helpful staff on the buses. Easy to find stops even without signs. We started and stoped at a request-only stop with no problems.

Impressive tour which is a must do in Santiago as there is so much to see!!!

    Brook_P, Jan 2026
Extremely well organised, especially English communication through provided headsets. Cable car and Funicular included in this tour make it very good value for money and a must do as they are both very impressive. All the family thoroughly enjoyed this tour package.

    KimberlyConti_D, Jan 2026
It is great tour, but be prepared that if you exit the bus know where you're going in advance and how to get back or to another stop as there are NO signs letting you know where the Bus picks you up especially after exiting the cable car to get on at stop 3.

Good way to see the city

    Colin_C, Jan 2026
Overall great way to see the city Long walk in the heat to the cable car station Bus stop not obvious when you come out of the funicular railway Perhaps extend the route and with more frequent stops

    Santiago de Chile Funicular

    Carlos_S, Jan 2026
Funicular and cable car give you a nice view of the city. Short ride. Good rate if added to hop on hop off. Pick up at hop on stop 3 and 4

    Great

    MarnelV_S, Jan 2026
The tour itself was great. Not so great was where to access the stops. Signs were nowhere to be seen. We were fortunate to meet up with a group that was looking for the same stop and after walking around for awhile we ran into an employee if the tour group that showed us where to access the stop

Must do activity to truly see what the city has to offer

    FrancoisYanick_B, Jan 2026
This is a must-do to truly understand the city and plan your next visit. The experience was smooth and easy. The teleferic and funicular added a unique dimension to the tour, and we captured some fantastic panoramic pictures of Santiago.

The stops are no marked so pay close attention when the mentions the stops other wise great experience. I did the entire route and then I got off at the stops I wanted to revisit. Carlos the tour guide was awesome.

All inclusive way to see the city

    Nerissa_P, Dec 2025
A great all inclusive tour that includes all the main sites and experiences like the funicular and cable car was a fun way for the kids to experience the city.

    Love Santiago!

    Colleen_M, Dec 2025
We decided to do the hop on/ hop off, funicular, and cable car. It was a great way to see the city. The staff were very friendly! Would highly recommend the tour. We were able to start the tour within walking distance of the hotel.

    Robert_M, Dec 2025
Be patient, the bus may run a little late as it did for us, but it will arrive at the designated intersection. The numbered bus stops, identify the street intersections, which is noted on the tour map sheet.

A bit overpriced but you are able to see more of the city with the flexibility to get off and on.

    Tammy_H, Dec 2025
Good way to see the modern and historic Santiago. However, the bus did not travel to the area with a cluster of Important Museums. My other complaint is that many of the workers could not speak English and the bus stops are not marked which caused a lot of confusion for me and others who were also looking. My first bus was very old and the audio was poor and hard to hear. My 2nd bus was new with good audio. I did the route once. That was a disappointment as I had to take a taxis and incur extra charges. The narration was informative and the cable car and funicular inclusion was very good. So, overall it did not really compare with the European and USA hop on and hop off bus experiences that I’ve had many times. But it is the only thing offered other than fixed sightseeing bus tours and walking tours. I choose it for flexibility. I stayed in the Historical area and had already visited the palace and main square and Santa Lucia Hill which were an easy walking distance. I did really enjoy seeing it Modern Santiago although the stops were not compelling me to get off. The bus stops running very early, so if you get off at very many stops, you might not even make it through the entire route once.

    Misty_S, Nov 2025
The audio was a little hard to hear but the bus hit all the stops and it was definitely worth it with the cable car and funicular included! Great way to get an overview of the city!

    Not a friendly tour

    Brian_S, Nov 2025
Quite difficult as no signs on the road where bus starts apparently city authorities don't like them. Only every 45 mins and the cable car stop is a very long walk not tourist or old people friendly in a day you can only manage two stops, I did cable car and sky tower. Only recommended as nothing else available

Good but could be more efficient

    Janet_B, Nov 2025
Not really able to see some of the "Sites" from the bus. Took a long time for a bus to appear but the real problem is that they are not allowed to put up signs on where the buses stop so you spend a lot of time and effort trying to find the stops. Cable car was good to ride but again no signs after you walk up from the bus drop off location stop 3. Just walk towards the way the cable cars are descending. Very little signage in English. Funicular was good but line can get long. When getting off no indication of where to catch bus. The app wasn't staying current and would show you were not to stop 5 yet but they announced stop 6. The two young ladies did a good job on announcing each stop in English and Spanish. Took for 7 hours once I left hotel to back to hotel to make one trip around.

    I would highly recommend.

Great way to see the city as it pretty spread out. We were very happy we chose the cable car and funicular add-on. The meeting spot is outside a large mall and we could see the busses in real time after we downloaded the ap. The staff were great. In particular Jorge Escoban. He spent 20 minutes telling us how to make the best use of our tickets and giving us extra information about the city is Santiago. Jorg is an asset to the Big Bus tour and to the hospitality industry in which he works.

    Cable Car ride in Santiago

    Larry_M, Oct 2025
This guy s a hop on hop off tour of Santiago with a twist: it includes a cable car and funicular ride to the top of San Cristobal between stops 3 and 4 on the toute. At stol 3 you depart the bus and walk a few blocks to the cable car ride up the mountain. It is a wonderful way to see the city. At the top there is a snack bar, AA statue and a monument to Our Ladtvof San Cristobal. Once at the top you have a choice of two ways down: cable car or funicular. The funicular lets you off at stop 4, the cable car at stop 3. Note: you can also take the funicular UP at stop 4. This is a must do in Santiago.

    Up, up and away

    Colette_M, Jun 2025
My favorite part was the funicular up and the cable car down. What a view! This was a great way to see the city and they had plenty of stops of Santiago’s best.

    Vicki_A, Jun 2025
I booked this specifically to ride the cable car and funicular, the cable car was not working and I get the distinct feeling it hadn't been working for a while, nor was it going to be working. It was not a windy day, no reason given
