Just returned from Cabo and had a great Excursion with our tour guide Beto. He was super informative and knowledgeable. Also the buffet was awesome and the chicken mole was delicious. Beto also did a great job with the tequila tasting as he is also very informative as well!

This was a fun experience. However, I made the mistake of upgrading from the Razor to the CAN-AM. There is no reason to do this. You are stuck in a single file line and you are not allowed to do anything that would make it fun. Therefore, the upgrade was completely unnecessary. Stick with the basic selection and you'll be fine.
Also, I did think that our guide was overly strict. One of my family members did a fishtail and immediately he was kicked out of the driver's seat. Hey, I get it. But there could have been a warning instead of a threatening tone that my family member may have damaged the UTV which is utter BS. This is what these machines are made for or maybe it's poor maintenance that makes them prone to catastrophic damage. Further, there was a vehicle in front of us that went completely perpendicular to the trail and nothing was said or done, interesting. Overall, it was a black cloud on the activity.
To conclude, go have a ride in the amazing desert landscape but don't expect a lot of thrills.

There was a communication breakdown between Viator, the operator “Cabo Adventures”, and me the customer. My ticket said to meet up at a certain location and time, yet Cabo Adventures wanted me at another location and place. The two need to communicate and only list one meet up location to the customer, to avoid confusion.

Our family had an awesome time .. our guides were amazing (Zamir & Diony) Serious when needed to be , but at riot the rest of the time… they were a hoot !! Meal was great . I lived the tuna salad 💕. Had a blast actually doing the tequila samplings. They made it a lot of fun. We would definitely go back.

Grounds are beautiful but service is not what it was 3 years ago when I visited then. Photographer didn’t take many pictures of our UTV experience & didn’t take pictures of the 2 drivers in our car. Disappointing as it was my son’s birthday & no pictures were taken. 3 years ago they paid attention to detail & took pictures of both my boys & that crowd was much bigger than this time. Last time there must have been 10 cars this time only 6. Also I believe I was added an extra charge of $150 but it’s impossible to get a hold of someone at Cabo Adventures. Very disappointed.

This tour was not worth the money
We could not bring our phones and so they take pictures that they sell you for $120 Per picture. If that is not take advantage of us I don't know what is. We also were rushed at the end because the group before us had an ATV broken down so this effected or time. The only good thing was the lunch the flour tortillas were probably the best I have ever eaten

Regarding the photography, cameras and cell phones are not allowed during the ride. For the safety of our guests and staff, we require full attention and hands-free during the activity. If you read some of the other reviews, they talk about the sand and dust. For most of the ride, we could not see in front of us or any of the scenery. It was super dusty and at times a little scary with concerns of the vehicle in front of us or going off the road. We found if we stayed back a bit, it was much better However, we were told to move up and be closer. We are experienced riders and thought it was not the safest place to be. If the vehicle in front stopped suddenly, we might have had trouble not running into them. Also, we missed the fact that the 4 of us had to pay $145 at the ranch. Overall, we felt a bit gouged! The lunch was great and fun! The leaders were fun and seemed really into their jobs (Frank and Juan)The real bummer is that the photos taken by the company were too expensive to consider purchasing. We wanted only one of our group to fine it was $50 for only that one or $90 for 2. No way! They would not let us use our cell phones on the ride so we have no photos of our adventure. They really need to offer a better price for photos, we did not see people buying them, so the company is really losing out on a lot of income.

One gripe- they make you leave your phones so you can’t take pictures, and their photo package STARTS at $120. Getting a little greedy with that money grab. Now I Jane no pictures to share on my socials to provide them with free advertising.

This was a super fun way to see Cabo. We were in a small group (just one other couple) and had so much fun. Pics are expensive (you can’t take your own) so know that going in. UTVs were surprisingly comfortable.
Friends of Bill: they push the tequila tasting very hard so be aware.

This experience was a BLAST! It was very well organized which made it especially enjoyable. From the timely pickup at our resort, the comfortable ride to the starting point, and the friendly drivers and guides, we were highly impressed! The timing was just right for the whole experience including wait times, UTV ride, lunch, and tequila tasting. The views at lunch were beautiful, and the trails were great - especially near the hills!
The guides were helpful, attentive, and fun. Highly recommend this one for the price!

We had a terrific couple hours on this excursion, greatly helped by all the reviews that I read on Viator.
We were aware of the $24 per person park fee, and the $45 per UT insurance fee. We were aware that we could upgrade to a more powerful UTV with better suspension, more power, etc.. We were also aware you could pay an extra fee and have your own tour guide with no one else in your group to slow you down.
When you pay for the private tour, it includes the upgraded UTV and waves the $50 park fee, so it really doesn’t cost much more to do the private if you already planned to upgrade to the Can-Am. I highly recommend going in this direction.
In the very beginning, we just did slow turns on the beach and I was concerned this day would be a bust, but soon we headed out into the desert where we could go faster. And until the guide realized that I was not going to crash the UTV or do anything crazy, he didn’t let me go as fast as I would like, but on the way back, we went a lot faster. For someone who had never driven a UTV, it was a very good experience. While I would have enjoyed more speed in a few places, it still was very enjoyable.
The equipment they provided was absolutely top-notch and the UTV performed very well. They blew our clothes with compressed air afterwards to get rid of most of the dust,and then we were served a very good lunch. By the way, there’s a lot less dust that gets on you if you are only writing behind the guide and not a bunch of other vehicles traveling in your group kicking up dust.
After the lunch, they had kind of a one on one tequila tasting session where they explained everything about tequila. We had not heard any of this so it was all new to us and we appreciated the information, and while we didn’t think we liked tequila, this tasted very good. The other thing we appreciated was there was absolutely no hard sell or even no sell at all to purchase tequila from them even though they did sell it there.
Transportation was included to and from our hotel so that made it easy. We had to wait about 15 minutes at a gas station to pick up four other people, but we also seen in the reviews that there are delays in this so we were expecting some and it didn’t bother us. The van was air-conditioned and we were in the shade so we were comfortable.
Although it’s a kind of pricey experience, overall, it is kind of unique and it gets you away from all the water activities that you do in Cabo and gets you out of town and into the desert.
They take great pictures of you during the beginning of the experience and they offer those to you at the end, but there isn’t a hard sell.
I didn’t plan to buy the pictures, which is a very good bargaining tool. It turns out..
I ended up buying them and they were about 35% off because I showed no interest in purchasing them.
If you’re interested in this kind of experience, I would recommend this tour

We loved it. Our guide was great. It gets dusty so don't wear anything that you don't mind getting dust on. They do blow you off with air at the end but just know it's dusty. I would recommend shoes and light weight long pants because of the dust. Unless you are OK with getting a little dusty.
The food is incredible along with the tequila tasting.

Definitely not worth it beware to be nickel and dimed. They tell you to not bring your cell phones on the excursion so that you will have to buy their picture package for 300 dollars. They also charge a “park fee” of 25.00 for a park that’s owned by the company. The excursion was also very short and wasn’t a full 4 hours it’s more like two hours.

Great adventure on the UTV and our guide was wonderful. Great to be on the dusty trails and by the ocean. Fun experience with lunch and tequila tasting. Learned something new.
Only downside was the price we paid Viator with did not include the extra $145 we had to pay when we got there.. $25 each person (4 of us) for entry fee and $45 insurance for UTV and CASH ONLY in U.S. Currency. That should have been included the total price package with Viator.

Emilio and Andreas were extraordinary! Emilio was the perfect guide, making everyone feel like family, ensuring everyone’s safety, and that everyone has a great experience. Andreas was phenomenal in capturing the experience taking pictures at every turn, making you look like a rockstar and everyone.
