Excellent hike with Sammy! Met in San Pancho and drove towards Punta Mita then hiked the trail up to Monkey mountain learning about the culture and vegetation along the way. Sammy has a great sense of humor and is a great guide. Highly recommended!

The view at the summit of Monkey Mountain is breathtaking. A challenging, but not overwhelming. Wearing proper footwear is a must. Our guide, Sam was amazing. He was very knowledgeable about the region and answered all of our questions. Would not hesitate to use his services again in the future, and would go on this hike a second time.

Sam is an amazing guide. Very knowledgeable and fun to be around. The hike was challenging with the inclines. A few spots where footing was hard to keep but we were just wearing tennis shoes.

Sam is a very friendly, knowledgeable and fun guide. He showed us how to crack open palm nuts and eat them, as well as other details about the local flora and fauna. It’s a very healthy hike—not too long but pretty steep. You will also need to scramble up and down some rocks in places—but Sam is right there to make sure you’re safe. He’s also a great source for local restaurant recommendations and other things to do in San Pancho.
