With the exception of the beautiful waterfall and gorgeous beach water this was an absolute nightmare. To begin with we got picked up an hour late, then we were switched to 3 different buses. After that we took a 2 hour ride to the boat. 35 min ride to the Semana island which wasn’t bad. After doing that you are taken to go eat and then to the waterfall. The waterfall is a complete scam, I ended up having to spend another $220 dollars because you are forced to pay the horse workers because that is not included in the trip. What did I exactly pay for if I am having to pay an additional 220 dollars. I didn’t anticipate that and didn’t bring any bank cards so I was forced to buy something at the store near the waterfall which was marked up beyond the cost as a tactic because they knew this was the only way I could get money by using my phone. That really ruined the trip. Again the waterfall is beyond words but everything leading up to it is a complete scam, everyone is wanting money in some type of form or fashion. I would avoid this trip if I were you unless you are willing to pay double. There a lot more things on the island to enjoy than to be scammed while on vacation. Lastly if you speak English good luck because there is no one to translate at all.
