What To Expect

Enjoy convenient pickup from your hotel in Samaná between 8am and 9am, then transfer just a few minutes' drive away to the zipline depot in El Limón via safari truck.

Once you arrive in the lush area of Juana Vicente, get an orientation and get fitted for a helmet and harness. Trek down the jungle path to the first of 20 platforms, with 10 cables running in between them.

Climb to the first platform and enjoy views of the Samaná Peninsula in every direction. Jump off and soar down the network of cables, some of which are 1,475 feet (450 meters) long and after your adventure, transfer back to your hotel for drop-off.

A morning well spent. We were picked up by a local guide and taken by bus to the zipline venue in the mountain. During the bus ride, the guide provided a lot of information on the area we were driving through, gave interesting historical and factual information. At the zipline venue we were outfitted with the necessary equipment, briefed on proper procedure and safety and taken on the trail. Our zipline guides were great fun, very nice, very safe and even took all the pictures for us. What a blast!!! And since our guides took our pictures and videos, we could focus on ziplining. Very well organized and done! Highly recommend for a fun half-day outing! The zipline itself is well taken care of and safe. And the views were spectacular. Loved every minute!

We really enjoyed the Zipline Adventure! We were picked up slightly later than planned but I think this was my fault because I left it until the day before to arrange our pick up. It was raining quite heavily but we were able to wait at their headquarters until the sun came out. It was just the two of us which was nice because there was no hanging around for other people. It took about an hour to do the 10 ziplines. Chocolate and Bari were great! Loads of fun! And supportive when I was a bit scared at the beginning.

My husband and myself had a Great time. Our guides, Chocolate and his brother made the experience even better. The views from the zip lines were beautiful. Since it was just the 2 of us at the time it was like a private session. You are also pick up and dropped off at your hotel so you don't have to worry about how to get there and it's about a 20 min. drive from Las Terrenas.
