What an amazing tour. The views from the Eagles Nest were spectacular. Spend some time in the Documentation Center going through the bunkers. Manfred was an incredible guide. He was very knowledgeable and guided through some extra places. Highly recommend. Eat lunch on the terrace of the Hotel Edelweiss if you can.

Great experience-well worth the cost. We were a group of four adults. Patrick our guide was amazing and shared so much more information than we would have been able to find on our own. He had photos and additional information on an iPad as well that was helpful for perspective comparing the current appearance and layout of certain areas/sights to historical pictures and information. He made reservations in advance for our Eagle’s Nest tour and lunch and the activities were well timed to balance a reasonable amount of depth with covering a lot. It was foggy at the summit at Eagle’s Nest so no views from the top but that did detract from the day-this was a great experience and we would highly recommend.

Incredible experience. Lena, our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. She was able to add a lot of depth to the places we saw on the trip. Although this tour was geared towards WW2, she did take the time to add a couple of stops related to The Sound of Music. I would absolutely recommend this tour.

Eagle’s nest and Hallstatt with Patrick!

Patrick was so knowledgeable and shared his personal knowledge being born and raised near Salzburg. We were lucky enough to book him for another tour to Hallstatt. That says a lot when you get done with one tour and immediately book another with the same person! I felt completely safe driving all the mountain roads with him, and I have a fear of heights. He added personal touches that I won’t spoil, greatly appreciated!! Thank you Patrick!!

Amazing tour!

Our family (6 adults) had a wonderful time on our private Eagle's Nest/Berhtesgaden Tour with Manfred! He was right on time at our hotel and was so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful! We tried to go to the salt mines, but there was an issue there that caused a delay. We were glad Manfred was familiar with the operation to know that it would not be worth the time to wait for it. So, we were a little sad to not see them but glad Manfred was there to help make that decision easier. We learned so much about Hitler and his love for the area and the history of his house and Eagle's nest. We learned that the reason the air was a bit hazy the day we did the tour was because of Sahara dust - never would have known that! The lunch spot Manfred recommended that we ate at was wonderful! it had great views of the mountains and the food was delicious (and not too expensive). The tour was the perfect amount of time to feel like we really saw the area and learned a lot. I would highly recommend this tour!

Patrick was a very polite and welcoming tour guide. My wife and I had a memorable experience during this tour. The information was direct, the sights were beautiful and with a private car, it was very easy to get around. The tour was well put together. Our tour guide allowed enough time at each location to meet our needs for taking pictures as well as simply soaking up the views. We were given plenty of personal space to enjoy each other's company along the tour. This tour is worth the experience!

Our guide, Lina, was excellent. The weather got better as we were at the Eagles Nest. Lina had booked a lunch at a very good restaurant in Berchtesgaden, and the salt mine tour in Hallein was good too. Altogether a delightful day - interesting and well presented.
