Our guide Fabian was fabulous. He taught us alot about winter survival and building an igloo. It was hard work but rewarding. But we did more than that on whole trip. We snowshoed to an incredible view. Had a nice lunch in a warm hut. Delicious dinner and breakfast. It was pretty cold -20c the night before, so we stayed for only half the night in the igloo. The igloo spot is an open field that was the best for seeing an amazing aurora.

We build the igloo with the most awesome guide. He was very kind. He also specially arranged vegetarian barbecue in lunch. Then from our igloo at night we have seen northern lights, it was so amazing experience. We were given warm room as well with proper facilities.

What a great experience! After fire-roasted sausage we had dinner and breakfast at the nearby hotel. We also had the peace of knowing we could stay there in case the igloo was too cold, but the igloo we made was very cozy and warm! I slept great after a good day’s work.
