Our driver and tour guide, Kaisim, was wonderful! We provided him a list of places we wanted to visit and he guided us from place to place and in many cases, suggested additional activities to see and do and added them to our list.. It was a perfect day in Rotterdam with the perfect guide.

This should not be billed as a tour. Our driver had a very nice, clean van. He was about 10 minutes late due to traffic. When we said we wanted to go to Kinderdijk he dismissed it and told us we could see windmills in Delft instead. The one he took us to was closed. The listing mentions cheese factories yet he had no idea what that would be. He didn't know what any of the older buildings were that we drove by and talked to us as little as possible. He was a driver and nothing more. We did end up going to the places listed but only because we convinced him to go to Kinderdijk - he originally wanted to take us to Amsterdam even though we told him windmills were the most important thing to us. If you are looking for a tour with a guide, I would not book this.

Dear Rachel, thanks for your review. I am really sorry to hear that your driver did not perform as expected and want to make my appologies. Our drivers should act as your guide for the day, and however they are not "academic" tour guides, they should do at least the tour as requested by the guest and know some basic background/history. He maybe he showed you all the requested places at the end but this is not the way it should have been done.
I need to talk with the driver about this tour and his behaviour and be more clear about the tour instructions.

Outstanding tour of Rotterdam. We came up with an itinerary and our driver, Peter, was so friendly, knowledgeable, and did a great job getting us to all the places we wanted to see. The van was perfect for my wife's wheelchair and Peter was so helpful everywhere we went in helping her in and out of the van and using the wheelchair. Great recommendation for our lunch stop as well. We highly recommend Rudy's Taxi for customizable tours. Thank you very much for your friendly and customized service.

Unfortunately, this tour did not meet expectations. While I understand there was a three-hour delay due to Royal Caribbean, I still feel the remaining time we had could have been used much more effectively. For the amount paid—over $1,000—we experienced very little of what should have been a highlight tour.
The guide initially had us under the impression that we did not need to be back until 9:00. However, after only a short drive, he suddenly stated that he had to return by 7:00, which drastically cut into our time. To make matters worse, the only reason we even stopped anywhere was because my daughter specifically asked him to. Otherwise, it felt as though we would have just continued driving in circles without any meaningful experiences.
Overall, I left feeling that the value did not come close to the cost and that I lost out significantly on this tour.

I am really sorry to hear that you are disappointed in the tour. We never had bad experiences with this driver/guide and let me also try to clarify some things.
Your booking was made 22 July to start the tour 9am in the morning. Just the evening before the tour at 8:45pm you asked me to start the tour at 12noon instead.
The driver/guide was then already booked for 9am but to be flexible I amended the booking at this late notice to start later and end the tour later.
Due to an extra delay of the cruise you ended up in the car around 3pm. This is almost 6 hours(!) later than it was originally booked.
Because of this delay myself and your driver/guide did advice you to go to The Hague and/or Delft for this tour but you insist to go to Amsterdam which is approx. 1.5 hour driver from Rotterdam.
I can imagine that you where expecting to see more of Amsterdam but because of the lack of time this was not possible. Since this tour also starts from Rotterdam we always advice guests to do the sightseeing around Rotterdam instead of Amsterdam. (Windmills of Kinderdijk, Gouda, Delft and/or The Hague etc..)

Peter provided us with a great day touring historical sites and showing us the many beautiful areas around Rotterdam. He suggested a nice place for lunch which provided us with many variety of fish options plus the meal was excellent!

Rudy's taxi service provided a great experience & I would definitely recommend him. However, Viator cancelled the reservation when I was trying to pay, then said it was unavailable to re-book. When I did get this re-booked (same day as cancellation), they ended up charging me more than I originally paid even though it was Viator's mistake!

Wonderful experience! We were able to visit/view a lot due to Friendly, professional , knowledgeable driver, Peter, in very comfortable, clean van. Visited sites we selected in Kinderdijk, Delft, The Hague, & Rotterdam with Peter driving us to the entrances of those we wanted to visit. Our driver, Peter, was wonderful. We were picked up on time and he asked us what we wanted from our day and then made very valuable suggestions as to how we could make the most of our time. We had a relaxed, fun filled day, a wonderful lunch, and a last minute addition that he handled with no problem. If I could give Peter and this trip 7 stars, I would. From the beginning, the company was in touch with me, responded promptly to my emails and texts, and created an experience that my sister and I enjoyed very much. We visited Delft, The Hague, the windmills of Kinderdijk, made a stop for souvenir shopping and were delivered back to our hotel right on time. I very highly recommend this company!

Peter was an excellent guide. We visited windmills at Kinderdike, and went to Royal Delft. He took us to the seaside where we had a great lunch, we saw the palace and parliament. Really great day. Highly recommend.

The driver picked us up on time and was friendly. We had 3 places we wanted to visit which had been agreed upon with Viator. Upon meeting with the driver, he said there was too much traffic and this would not be possible, despite the advertisement offering this visit along with free admission. We were in no traffic for most of the day and only light traffic getting into the city centre. The driver dropped us off 2.5 hours early at our hotel. Our room was not ready and we lost the remainder of the day and never saw the activities we had hoped and planned to visit. We spent a considerable amount of money to have a private driver for a full day and did not receive this. I would definitely not recommend this service

Thank you for your review and i'm really sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with this tour.
From your driver this day, who did tours before, I have understand that you did visit Delft, you made a short walking tour and visited the delftware factory & did a tour in The Hague incl. a visit to the miniature village of Madurodam.
After the visit to the Hague there was not so much time left to visit also the village of Volendam and/ or Edam and I do agree that your driver should have offered maybe some other options on route to visit during this tour to see a cheese and/or clog factory,
I'm really sorry that this happend. This could have been done in a different and better way.
I also understand that you where a bit tired after the visit to The Hague and wanted to go back to the hotel earlier. The driver told you that this would end the tour approx. 1.5 hour earlier (not 2.5 hour) but as far I can understand from him is that you did agree on this with him.
Where possible I will improve my services and tours and hope you will accept my apologies for not offering you the experience as you where expected.

We do not have fixed itineraries but the driver is supposed to help you to find the nicest places and give you some back ground information teling you some of the history of the region and the Netherlands
They are driver/guides and not academical tour guides. I will look at this and see where we can improve this to make future experiences better and not just a nice drive.

We booked this tour to allow us to visit several places in the Netherlands in one day. First we toured Rotterdam. Then on to Kinderdijk that great site with its wonderful windmills. In Delft we visited the Royal Delft factory. Then on to the area round about. Our driver was knowledgeable and willing to take us where ever we desired. He needed to be back in Rotterdam right at five so we had to cut it short to get back on time. I originally booked the tour for only two of us and was a little disapointed the the cost went up by $200 when another couple decided to meet us in Rotterdam and wanted to come along. It was the same car going the same places so why the extra cost? However we had a good tour and a nice visit to a varity of sites in the 6 hours we had.

We had Renee as our driver. We were picked up in a Mercedes at the cruise terminal in Rotterdam and from there we had a fantastic day. He took us to the windmills, a farm where they make cheese, and a stop in the village of Delft. We were able to keep our luggage with us all day, and he then dropped us off at our hotel in Amsterdam. Just a great guy and a great tour guide.

Peter was so great. Our ship docked a little late and he was very patient with us and kept in contact until we were able to disembark. He then took us to Kinderdijk to see the lovely windmills. After our tour, we asked about lunch and he found us a quaint spot on the water. Then took us to see Delft and the pottery there. The town was such a great surprise and is better than Amsterdam. ;) We had people from age 6 to 76 so it was great how flexible he was with places to drive versus walking. Thanks again!

Peter offered our family an amazing day in Holland. He tailored our day to visit all of the highlights and avoid major crowds. Windmills, Delft, The Hague, small, family run cheese farm, a herring tasting, beautiful sites and great conversation along the way. A great time was had by all! We will definitely be back.

This is a car service, not a guided tour. Our driver took us where we told him we wanted to go but had no historical information for what we saw beyond that he could show us “old buildings”, as he put it. This should not be booked if you are looking for a private tour. This is a car and driver to take you where you want to go and pick you up or wait for you and get you back to the cruise port on time in luxury and comfort.

The drivers we work with are not "professional" tour guides but our driver/guides should know more than just telling you if a building is old or new.
The tours basically go to the highlights of the city you choose and show you some parts the typical landscape and culture. I will communicate this better to the customer but also be more careful when I send a driver for a tour.

Our driver Murat was the professional, timely and took us everywhere we wanted to go! We told him what we wanted and even added in a few spots that were so not miss while in Rotterdam! His driving was great. Car was very comfortable. Everything was great, and I would highly recommend! He really catered to my mom, opening her door assisting when needed. Excellent service.
