Traveler pickup and drop-off is offered. In case you stay in a hotel in the center the easiest way with the least risk of misunderstandings is to pick you up at your hotel. So please always indicate in which hotel you are staying. We pick up our guests from all hotels in and around the center of Rotterdam, including ones not listed above here. I provide pick up service at the most common docking locations of cruiseships as well. Most sea Cruiseships do dock at the Rotterdam Cruise Terminal, most river cruiseships at the Boompjeskade. In case you would like to be picked up somewhere else please indicate as well. In case you are not in a hotel in the center and don't have any suggestions where to be picked up from, we will suggest a couple of locations to meet. Hotel pickup is offered. Izzy was a great tour guide and I would have given 5 stars except... there were items mentioned in the tour that did not happen...water, snacks, tour was 60 minutes, not upto 90, etc. Paid $149+ for 2 people. Is that a fair price point?

I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the tour itself and the experience with Izzy. At the same time, I’m sorry to hear that parts of the experience didn’t fully match your expectations.
Just to clarify a few points for transparency: the tour duration is communicated as 60–90 minutes, as it includes pick-up and drop-off, which can vary depending on the locations. In your case, the tour lasted around 70 minutes, which falls within that range.
You’re absolutely right regarding the water and snacks; we always have that with us and this is something we offer, but we could have been more proactive in making that clear during the tour. That’s valuable feedback and something we will improve.
We also aim to go beyond the standard route when possible. For example, we included an additional stop at Rif010, which isn’t part of the regular itinerary but is something we like to add to enhance the experience. Of course, this should always feel like a bonus rather than a trade-off, so your feedback helps us balance that better.
It’s always our goal that guests leave with a great feeling about both the tour and the city, so it’s genuinely unfortunate to hear that there were doubts afterwards — especially since the experience in the moment felt positive because you gave the guide a hug afterwards leaving us with a good feeling.
To clarify one last thing; after commission, taxes, employee wages, fees, costs of energy and maintenance; we are left with just 10-20 euro per tour; so yes it is a fair price point.

We suggest this experience for any and everyone! We arrived in Rotterdam after an overnight flight and took this excursion an hour after checking in to our hotel. This tour was rejuvenating, educational and so much fun! Izzy was a wonderful guide and gave us a memorable taste of Rotterdam for the short time we were going to be in the city!!

Great city tour for those who only have a few hours in Rotterdam. Our guide WBA’s very knowledgeable about the history and landmarks of the city. The price was very fair and below what I would have expected for a tour of this caliber.

My cruise ship arrived at 1 pm. My reservation was at 12 noon. They canceled our tour and offered a tour the next day. I explained we were departing the same day and had to be back on the ship at 6:30 pm. They offered a 6 pm tour. When I explained that won't work, they informed viator they wont refund my money. My husband is handicapped and that's why I selected this tour.

We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience and fully understand how disappointing it must have been — especially with the limited time you had and the needs of your husband; but this review is not honest nor fair towards us and what actually happened.
However, we do feel it's important to clarify that we DID NOT cancel your tour. The tour was scheduled at 12:00 PM, but unfortunately your cruise ship arrived significantly later, at 1:00 PM. That delay made it impossible to start the tour as planned, and sadly, this was entirely outside of our control.
We genuinely tried to help by offering an alternative times (multiple); just like we successfully did with several other guests on the same day (as you can read in our most recent reviews). In your case, however, the timing simply didn’t work due to your 6:30 PM departure, and our capacity was fully booked, so we couldn’t offer a custom slot at short notice.
Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer a refund because we had already prepared and made costs for the tour — including reserving a private guide who was ready to deliver the experience. Since the delay was not caused by us, and we held up our end of the reservation, it falls outside our refund policy.
We're a small team that works hard to create personal, meaningful experiences — and we always aim to be as flexible as possible. We're truly sorry this didn’t work out for you, but we do hope you understand this situation was beyond our reach.

I made a booking by mistake the booking for June 7th, thinking that I had made it for June 6th @ 9:43 am. I went to the designated pickup and when no driver came I sent a text asking about the location. When I called for a refund I was told that it was after the 24 hour cancellation policy. It wasn’t 24 hours available for me to adhere to the policy. So I lost my money. I have enjoyed past experiences, but because of this, I will not be booking again with this company.

We’re genuinely surprised by this review, especially after you admitted in your message to us:
“I made a mistake with the date. I thought today was the 7th. I will be starting my cruise on the 7th. I would greatly appreciate consider a refund.”
You booked the tour for June 7th, but mistakenly showed up on June 6th. You didn’t ask to join the tour on the correct date — instead, you cancelled and requested a refund. If you'd said “I still want to do the tour”, we would have gladly welcomed you on the 7th. We're flexible and do our best to accommodate guests when possible.
Unfortunately, we cannot override Tripadvisor’s 24-hour cancellation policy. We didn’t cancel anything — you made the mistake, admitted it, and still chose to cancel. Leaving a negative review for your own booking error is, frankly, unfair and misleading.
We’re proud of the experiences we offer, and always strive to be fair and professional — as we were in your case.
Next time take your responsibility instead of blaming us for your own mistake and ruining our review streak scores.

We were picked up at our hotel by our tour guide Izzy. He was friendly and energetic with an enthusiastic attitude about sharing his love for the city of Rotterdam with us. Our tour lasted approximately one hour after which we were dropped off at our hotel. Izzy contacted us prior to our tour to ask if we had any special requests to personalize the tour.

I had a wonderful pedicab tour in Rotterdam with my son, and it was the perfect way to explore the city. Izzy was an excellent tour guide. This is our first time to Rotterdam and are only here for one full day. Izzy gave us a great overview of the city stopping at many interesting places taking photos of us and best of all sharing his knowledge of this great city. Izzy even made a a reservation at a coffeehouse for us at the end of the tour which had a beautiful view of the city.
