Absolutely fantastic. Really fabulous zoo with an amazing range of animals in humane enclosures. The aquarium was out of this world. It takes several hours to visit all the exhibits in lovely landscaped settings.

The zoo was wonderful. It was really nice to see the animals. This is a really good trip for families, couples even friends. I'd definitely recommend it. Also it's only 15 mins by bus from Rotterdam Central, so it's really not far.

The Rotterdam Zoo was an amazing place with tons of great animals to see. The zoo is very large so bring your walking shoes.

Viator tickets are fake didnt get accepted

The tickets i bought here on Viator didnt work. I went with my girlfriend to the zoo on Valentines day. I showed my Viator "Fast" eletronic (pdf tickets) and when they scanned my tickets they showed up fake/not accepted. After talking with the staff at the entrance, showing the whole pdf, mailing the pdf to another member of staff, they finally got accepted. So if you want to hustle to get in the zoo, buy them at Vaitor! Blijdorp Rotterdam Zoo itself is a 5 star zoo. Its very big, you can walk there for a whole day. They have a small elephant and gorilla now, i think they are less then 1,5 years old.

I've been to many zoos and this one was one of the nicest I've been too. The oceanarium is unmatched and a must see. Wide array of animals and none of the animals appeared to be in distress and were very interactive with the zoo goers.

There's so much. I could have spent longer but I had another tour to get to. It's grouped parts of world. African, Asian, North America, Arctic, Aquarium, etc. They have a komodo dragon. I never that I would see one of those.

Beautiful zoo, everyone has fun! Gordos food options, impecable restrooms and Lota of playgrounds around the zoo to take a break once in a while.

Play areas and Oceania were favourite bits but the whole area was excellent. Open and good views and information. An easy 5 hrs including lunch and play and we didn’t even see it all.

It was not worth the ticket price and not a pleasant experience.

So many cages are empty, the small train to shuttle people was not there, the zoo is in bad need of renovations everywhere and it is very loud because of its location on the highway with the trains too and traffic.

Very beautiful Zoo, we are impressed that we could see different habitats with happy animals and many species. Pity,the raining push a bit the limited time and we couldn't visit all around, but that was not a inconvenience to enjoy.

Having only done a little research into the Zoo, I had a big surprise on arrival. Although the main entrance looks a little run down, the zoo itself is fantastic and is easily comparable to Chester Zoo in the UK. The biggest difference between the two is Rotterdam zoo was empty! Majority of the time we were at an enclosure there was no one else around!

Der Zoobesuch war sehr schön, wir haben dort 3 Stunden verbracht um uns alles anschauen zu können. Allerdings ein negativer Aspekt ist der Eintrittspreis von 23,50€ p/P.

Am meisten beeindruckt hat mich das riesengroße Aquarium, aber auch der Rest ist sehr schön gestaltet, die Rundwege gut gezeigt, sodass man auch alles sieht. Die Gehege waren sehr sauber und gepflegt. Es gibt tolle Spielplätze für die Kinder, sowohl innen als auch außen. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich.

Schön groß und viele Tiere das Oceanium war ein kleines Highlight. Wir haben uns Zeit gelassen und fast 4 1/2 Stunden gebraucht. Die Gehege sind dafür teilweise sehr klein.
