We did a private tour with Theo. He was a friendly and knowledgeable host and guide. He walked with us to different areas, made sure we had coffee, water, and even a meal. If you do a tour of Rhodes, having your own driver is the way to go, and Theo is great.

We loved Rhodes, from the amazing walled medieval Rhodes to the Acropolis of Lindos. We had a nice stop at a Traditional ceramic stop where Giannis showed us is lovely creations. The hike up to the Acropolis was well with it. Wish we would have had a little more time in Lindos city below..

Viator sold an excursion knowing that Lindos was almost completely shut down as it is the off season. only a few shops and no restaurants were open. Paid extra for time for lunch but there was no where to eat. Viator would not issue any refunds. Tour guide should have also known about the situation when he dropped us off in a closed town Very disappointing.

I’m truly sorry that your experience did not fully meet your expectations. Lindos is a historic village that remains open year-round, including its streets, viewpoints and the Acropolis. However, as with many traditional destinations during the off-season, individual shop and restaurant opening hours may vary and are independently operated.
The tour itself was delivered as described, and guests had full access to explore the village and its main attractions. While some establishments were not operating at that specific time, the destination was accessible and dining options were available in Rhodes Town before and after the visit.
I understand that you were hoping for more open restaurants in Lindos specifically, and I appreciate you highlighting this. Your feedback is valuable and we will ensure future guests are clearly informed about seasonal variations in local business hours.

Dimitris is a tremendous guide with a wealth of information, current and historical. He took us to numerous sites and vistas and was extremely flexible about stops. He was able to fill the tour despite my husband's recent injury which limited the distance he could walk.

Being on the island of Rhodes was amazing. Our driver and guide, Panos, was fantastic (and funny). He provided history but also his personal insights.
Seeing where St Paul preached was amazing and climbing the acropolis was sweaty but so worth it. The very best part was having lunch in a small town that Panos recommended. It was right on a small beach that wasn’t crowded at all. He let us know traditional food that he would recommend we try. The symi shrimp was so good that we had to order a second plate (thanks to our teen son)! Also, 2 of us have Celiac Disease and had to eat gluten free. The restaurant knew all about Celiac and could alter just about anything for us.
Panos also asked if we would want to stop at an olive oil business and he let us know in advance he was friends of the family. I was impressed with that. Of course I had to stop and next thing you know, I’m tasting amazing olive oils and had a case (or 2 possibly) shipped home. We also stopped at a pottery shop by Giannis and had a fun time looking at everything he had made.
Panos always asked if we wanted to stop or not. That was great for the 4 of us (husband and 2 teen sons)
Would highly recommend this tour and Panos.

Stopping at the olive oil business must have been a treat, especially knowing that Panos had a personal connection with the family. Tasting the different olive oils and deciding to have some shipped home shows just how special the experience was for you.
And exploring the pottery shop by Giannis sounds like a fun and unique way to immerse yourselves in the local culture and support local artisans.
