Overview

Test your scuba skills without enrolling in a multi-day course with this small-group diving experience in Rhodes. Cover the basics, from scuba theory to breathing techniques, during a safety briefing with a PADI-qualified instructor. Then, take a boat from Mandraki Harbour to Kalithea Bay for a roughly 20-minute dive. With your instructor close by, you'll get up close to colorful marine life and swim by underwater caverns. You'll also have the option of upgrading to include a second, slightly deeper dive. This small-group is limited to just six participants per dive.

Hotel Lobby or nearby appointed location. We arrange as well Diving experience with pick ups from the south side of the island for a Half day activity ( Kalathos, Vlicha, Lindos, Kiotari, Lardos, Pefkos) and the activity is operated by the beach and diving from a boat.

A medical questionnaire must be completed and will be reviewed by our doctor prior to diving.
Please be aware you should leave a minimum of 18 hours after diving before flying.
Persons who are epileptic, pregnant or who recently had a lung or chest surgery for their own safety are not allowed to dive.
We can offer the program from Hotels located at the south area of the island but with the following conditions: Duration of the activity is half day , activity is operated by the beach dive and not by the boat.
Not recommended for epileptic travelers

Great Scuba trip for Adventurous Family

We are a family of 5 with 8,10,& 11 year old children. The Water Hopper scuba team assigned experienced diver for EACH child. We had such a great time, that we booked a 2nd dive. Recommendation: Families need to bring food for lunch and snacks. Thanks Water Hopper.

A great trip! The crew are...

A great trip! The crew are incredibly well prepared and organized, from hotel pick up through to return. You don't have to do anything but breathe! The training was perfect for a first time diver and the diving crew looks after everything, from gear fitting to buoyancy control while you're in the water. They even had a doctor on board prior to sailing to review passengers' release records. This is a safe, inexpensive way to test out scuba diving and was definitely a fabulous way to spend a day on the water in Rhodes. The snorkel only option is also offered for those who don't want to dive.

Fantastic from start to finish. Well...

Fantastic from start to finish. Well organised and very professional. I would recommend this trip to anyone. I have dived before so this was just a trip for me, however I took my wife along and she was so scared she cried most of the way to the bay where you dive. She agreed to give it a go but I knew how afraid my wife was so did not hold much hope of her going under water. During the initial training my was wife was placed with a English lady that spoke so gently to my wife and assured her it was safe that my wife actually calmed down and agreed to go under the water. The lady instructor also made sure that a diver her husband held on to her all the way and was there to reassure her at all times. I cannot thank the whole team enough especially the two mentioned for making this trip such a pleasurable one. My wife has even said if we return again she would give it another go. I recommend this tour for anyone at any age or level.

This is a good place to get a dive in...

This is a good place to get a dive in from a cruise ship or hotel. They provide pick up and return service. I made a two tank dive and only carried my mask and booties along for the trip. They picked me up at the cruise ship terminal and returned me on time for my departure. Good dive and helpful staff. Their equipment was great and dive masters knowledgeable. Sorry no pictures. I did not take a camera or phone for the dive.
