Class II/III White water rafting

Osmunda_J, Aug 2018
It was our first time rafting and some of us are non swimmers (2 adults and two kids-16,7). However, Ronny our guide was awesome. The drive was about an hour but Ronny educated us on the culture, towns we passed, etc...His instructions once we got to the location were clear and precise. The snack and lunch provided were good. Please purchase the pictures at the end-well worth it and affordable. Thank you Hario for capturing the moments. Gustavo thank you for getting us to and back safely. Pura Vida!

This tour was very fun! I am not a huge fan of the water/swimming ect but my husband really wanted to do it so I acquiesced. I am glad I did! I had waaay more fun than I had expected and the rapids weren't bad at all we did class 3. We got to hang out for awhile at a fun waterful and stuff ourselves on pineapples and cookies before finishing the trip. My only complaint was the lunch that was included after the trip, they'd have almost been better off not including it at all. It was nearly 20 for 2 drinks, and the food was dry and 'meh'. After having such yummy food here, I was disappointed by this lunch.

This is a well run, efficient and friendly operation that enables visitors to experience the thrills of the river at the same time as marvelling in the stunningly beautiful scenery. For me there were 2 highlights: The stop off at the glorious waterfall where we able to get battered by the cascading waters and float in the pool the opportunity to float down 2 of the calmer rapids with the buoyancy jacket to keep my head above water. If you ever what to experience the true power of the water, that 's the way to do it. We also paid extra to have photos taken of us by one of the team so whilst we were being bounced around in the raft, he was in a separate kayak snapping amazingly good shots. Not even the ubiquitous Go pros could capture the memories so well.
