Spotted: Living My Best Fin-tasty Adventure

This expedition was a whale of a good time and has filtered through as the best day ever. While I came for the whale sharks, they came in second next to how much I loved Michelle’s energy and charisma. She helped us create multiple krill-ion dollar moments with these big-daddy sharks, do-do-do-do-do-do. We got so close to these bus-sized sharks which was incredible and almost nerve-wracking. They’ve got more spots than a leopard and less bite than a goldfish, so we knew we weren’t in any danger (other than being so awe-struck we didn’t want to leave). These creatures are proof that size matters — when it comes to sheer awe and beauty. They took us to the shark-cute-erie where we were surrounded by adorable behemoths. We have to specially thank Michelle, Fabio, Luis, and Daniel. Michelle and Fabio were AMAZING at taking us into the water in small groups to get up close and personal with these gentle giants. Luis had the best, most comfortable boat for our trip, and Daniel was a BOSS at efficiently picking us all up and dropping us off. DON’T FORGET TO CHECK YOUR BELONGINGS ON THE SHUTTLE. We made that mistake, but Michelle and Daniel were hero’s at helping us. Don’t do that to them like we did. Every part of this excursion was worth it and more. This was far better than a Sea+ adventure, it was an A++ experience. The guides were incredible about making a totally unique experience you’ll never forget.

Escursione assolutamente da fare Purtroppo il viaggio per arrivare al sito è un po’ lungo soprattutto perché bisogna fare tappa in molti alberghi dove prendere i vari escursionisti Viaggio con la barca lunghetto e su una barca non particolarmente comoda ma ne vale la pena Preciso che non è detto di trovare gli squali balena in quanto sono in libertà qui puoi vedere decine di squali, come non vederne neanche uno Noi siamo stati fortunati e ce n’erano otto che giravano L’unico lato negativo, perlomeno per chi vuole vederli bene è che ti fanno tuffare per 12 minuti a ridosso dello squalo solamente per 2 o 3 volte quindi non si vede un granché Detto ciò, è ovvio che questo metodo salvaguardo la salute e la tranquillità dell’animale che ovviamente viene stressato dalle numerose barche che gli si sostano intorno Si può portare la propria attrezzatura oppure utilizzare la loro Dopo la visita agli squali, si va a mangiare ad un buffet sull’isla Mujeres L’isola è fantastica, ma il mio avviso molto caotica noi non abbiamo voluto mangiare il Ma goderci un po’ il mare che era davvero una meraviglia Consiglio assolutamente questa escursione, perché è unica nel suo genere
