Overview

Decide on the trek you’d like to take in either the Annapurnas or Upper Mustang, and your guide will arrange your itinerary and go over it with you and your group (15 max). You can choose day treks or multi-day treks, whatever you feel like. Note that your food, accommodation, and transportation are additional fees, but your guide can help you to arrange them.

Full-Day Hike in Pokhara with Raju

I recently did a full-day hike in Pokhara (about 9 hours), and I couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Raju. From start to finish, he was incredibly knowledgeable about the trails, local culture, and the natural surroundings. What made the experience truly great was how attentive and patient he was throughout the day. Raju always took time to explain interesting things along the way, whether it was about the landscape, villages, or local plants and his passion for the area really added to the experience. He knew exactly where the best viewpoints and photo spots were, and he also picked out ideal places to take breaks, which made the long hike feel very manageable. He made sure I was going at a pace that was comfortable for me and always prioritized my safety and comfort, checking in regularly. If you’re planning a hike or trek, I highly recommend Raju; a professional, friendly, and genuinely caring guide who turns a great hike into an unforgettable one.

Excellent Hike with Raju!

Raju was an excellent guide and I had a fantastic day with him hiking to Australian Camp and Dhampus. He had excellent communication via text leading up to our hike. I wasn’t sure which trail I wanted to take so he sent me a bunch of suggestions, along with photos so I could make an educated decision. Raju was on time for pick up, helped me arrange for a taxi transport from my old hotel to my new hotel (extra charge) and in between that, we hiked. Raju is conscientious, kind, caring and gave me the perfect amount of silent time and conversation so that I never felt pressured to talk but I also felt free to ask questions - and I asked many! Raju spoke great English, he clearly loves hiking and is very experienced (decades worth!). I am not in the best shape so had to take breaks and Raju made sure I felt comfortable and not judged the entire time. He also reminded me to breathe slowly and deeply when he noticed how short my breaths were. I had a small fall on the hike, which was my fault since Raju had frequently reminded me to go slow, be mindful of certain branches and rocks etc. and when I fell, he made sure I was ok before beginning again. All this to say, I felt very safe and cared for by Raju, especially because I was a bit nervous at the beginning since I am travelling as a solo female. I would highly recommend Raju as your guide and I have already suggested him to my friends and family who plan to come to Nepal. Thank you Raju!

All of the amazing reviews were spot on. I am so grateful to Raju for an incredible day. From the moment I booked he messaged me and provided me options for treks, pictures in order to decide, and was communicative throughout the process. The scenery is magical. You walk through villages on the way to and from the Australian base camp(the trek I chose) and the views are spectacular. I’ve done hikes around the world and have to say that this stands out. Beyond that, Raju is very professional, kind, and patient. I went on this trek solo, therefore we had a chance to talk a lot. He is knowledgeable and makes sure you are enjoying the journey and learning while doing it. I also want to thank Raju for inviting me to his family’s celebration. After our trek we went to his brother’s house to celebrate Dashain. They were so welcoming to a complete stranger on such a special holiday and I will be forever grateful to them. That’s the kind of guide you are getting with this tour. Don’t think twice and book it.

We had an incredible one day hike with our guide Raju to the Australian base camp, local villages and the forest. Saw plenty of scenic places along the route and learned a lot about the life of local people and the country. Raju is a very experienced and attentive guide and a great person. Highly recommended!
