Get a free hotel round-trip from Phuket Town, Patong, Kata, Karon and Chalong. The exact pick-up time will be confirmed by email after you have made the booking. If you stay in Kamala, Naihan, Sapam, Laem Hin, Rawai, Bangtao and Surin Beach, there is an extra charge of 100 THB per person. If you stay in Ao Yon, Ao Sane, Baan Krating, Cape Panwa, Layan and Naithon, there is an extra charge of 1000 THB/group (max. 10 people) If you stay in Mai Khao, JW Marriott & Ao Por, there is an extra charge of 1300 THB/group (max. 10 people) If you stay at another location please come to the meeting point at Ao Nang Travel & Tour office at Rassada Port in the south of Phuket Town 30 minutes before scheduled departure. What To Expect

Enjoy a hassle-free journey from Phuket to Railay Beach with this convenient one-way ferry transfer service. Begin by getting picked up from your Phuket hotel for transfer to the pier if you've selected the pickup option. Otherwise, make your own way to Rassada Pier 30 minutes before boarding time, where you'll board the Ao Nang Princess Ferry.

Cruise across the stunning Andaman Sea, enjoying the picturesque sea views during the 2-hour and 15-minute journey. The ferry makes a brief stop in Ao Nang before reaching the final destination of Railay Beach. The package also includes basic travel insurance. This ferry operates daily in high and low season.

Quick & Easy check in and comfortable seats. We sat at the back and the exhaust was a bit strong as passengers opened the door often . Sit closer to the front if this smell bothers you. We just out a scarf to our face and we’re fine. I would use again. Easy switch to long boat for the shallow waters. Good experience.

Everything went as advertised. Hotel pick up was 5 minutes late but friendly staff. Staff on very also helpful. Snacks on ferry were a little expensive.

Not particularly well organised, prior to boarding, infact rather haphazard. Had to cross over to reach our ferry boat, passing over heavy luggage too. The boat seating below decks were cramped, and the cabin smelt strong of fuel oil. life jackets were available on the back of each seat. Seating great in the upper cabin was the same but smelt less of enging oil. Again life jackets were on the back of each seat,no safety card or instructions given in the event of an emergency. Although I formed where we cod purchase coffee/water etc. Having g arrived i Ai Nang, had to board another boat, boat to boat style. Thankfully the luggage was passed over for us. Arrived at Railay beach, to get off on a ver long pontoon apx 1/4 mile at a guess, made of plastic square segments, Incredibly difficult to pull your luggage along, no assistance available each person for themselves at this point.

An Absolute Debacle

The trip over was in a boat with most of its windows broken and being held together by opaque film, so you couldn’t see out. You had to stand on the deck to take in the view. When we arrived at Railay Bay, we were transferred to long tail boats. Both my husband and l attempted to grab our suitcases to take with us but we were stopped by the crew, who said they would load all the bags onto a long tail boat for us. We were relieved, as it would’ve been very difficult to move a heavy suitcase from the big boat onto a very rocky long tail boat. The big boat then left with all our luggage and the luggage of several other travellers. The people on the jetty then berated us for not taking our luggage. We explained that the crew stopped us from taking it. We were then told to return to the jetty at 3pm to collect our bags. We were quite concerned as our bags contained our passports and some important medication. When we returned to the jetty at 3pm, we were further berated by staff for not taking our bags off the boat and we were then told that the boat would not be returning until the next morning. It was then that all hell broke out with people yelling and arguing. Suddenly the jetty workers were able to get the boat to come to the jetty in under 10 minutes. Our luggage was finally returned 4 hours after we arrived. If you enjoy stress and being abused for following instructions from the tour operators, then l recommend this trip.

Will get you where you need to go

I had to get to Railay Beach from Phuket and there were limited options. We were picked up from our hotel very early by the tour company, taken to a ferry terminal, boarded a boat and 90mins later we were on Railay. The tour company handled all luggage movements for guests which was very helpful. The tour company provided a great service for reasonable price.

Transfer to Long Boat for landing at Railay.

Ferry ride was mostly uneventful. We rode inside so did not see a lot on the way, but approach to Railay Beach was beautiful. Surprise at the end though as you need to transfer to a long boat for landing there. So wear pants and shoes you don’t mind getting wet as you’ll have to wade ashore in shallow water. They will keep your suitcases dry though.

Fun adventure, great experience

Can arrived early so make sure you are ready on time. Pretty seamless experience. Van picked up, taken to pier, get on ferry, get to railway with no problems. Using the long tail boat from the ferry to the beach was an experience, but they helped me with my luggage which was greatly appreciated since I am six months pregnant.

OK but slightly questionable ferry ride

The ferry got us to Railay Beach - Pick up at hotel was good. Processing onto the ferry at the pier was very slow - a lot of different type of trips and destinations all processing in the same place for the same boat. There were life jackets available but with luggage all over the place and stacked near exits - if something had gone wrong - not sure how things would have been. Diesel smell and people smoking out the back was smelly. Inside cabin was air conditioned. Best part was transferring to a long tail boat to get to shore. Disembarked from that into the water and waded to shore. Fun!

Given wrong time

Told numerous times to be outside out hotel at 8 am. Would appear they turned up at 7 so had gone when we got out there at 0735 after a phone call. Had to pay extra for a taxi and rush to the boat. I have emailed asking for a refund as we’d also paid extra for pick up from out of town but no response or apology

Did the job but better options

Thought we'd be going on a ferry, but instead we got put on a speedboat. It was fine, did the job. Would recommend taking the ferry to Ao Nang and then longtail boat from there to Railay if you want to make the most of the views.

Pick up from hotel was very late so why to make usswake up so early. Ferry was ok but very crowded. Getting of the second longboat at destination rayley with suitcases can be a little complicated is sea is not calm.

The taxi driver was very punctual and left us at the ferry in time. Fantastic service from him The ferry was a disaster. 30 min late and AC not working, without any single notification from the crew. Really poor service

Ferry was good and enjoyed the scenery from the ferry. The only thing that I would improve is the last transfer on the tail boat as these guys did not help at all with the luggage once we reached the pier. Other than that the ride was good.
