Experience of a Lifetime

This was a very intimate and personalized experience that went above and beyond my expectations. I was expecting to make pasta and a sauce. But I was not expecting to make new connections with people I've never met before, be given a personalized apron and learn about the history of Pescara, the architectural history, how food and arts and community connections have changed over time. The view from the outside dining area has an extravagant view of many nearby towns and distant enough to see the coast. It's a beautiful experience and any traveler looking for an authentic Italian experience that is different than a hop-on hop-off bus or a guided tour or feels more much more personalized, this would be for them. I am going to come away from this with having such an appreciation for the time and effort taken for this whole experience from start to finish and the excellent communication between myself, Leonardo and his whole network of people involved, including Nana Naira, who is a joy to stand alongside in the kitchen and an excellent teacher. I couldn't be happier.
