A wonderful day. Four boutique wineries, over 30 wines tasted; a chance to see some indigenous art and taste chocolate were added bonuses. Paul was an excellent guide with a detailed knowledge of the area and the wines. Thoroughly recommend.

The best wine tour ive been on.A really fabulous day out.Our guide was knowledgable and showed us some of the Swan valley s hidden gems. Be prepared though to buy your own lunch, its not included.

Great Time - Swan Valley Wine Tour

Took this tour in Mid-March. There were 4 Guests but could go to 6 Guests in the van. Picked up at our hotel. I rated this tour excellent as the guide (Shannon) was very knowledgeable about the wines, the wine regions and history of the Swan Valley. The wineries we visited were: Mandoon Winery Upper Reach Winery (Lunch) Olive Farm Wines Talijancich Wines Each winery was unique and the lunch was very good. Would definitely do it again with Up Close and Local Tours.

This was a delightful trip. Very enjoyable. Paul is very knowledgable and an excellent host. Visited some wonderful wineries. All with their own characteristics and fabulous wine. A very tasty lunch was provided in a lovely location. Comfortable transport. Having never been to a winery before, it was a very pleasant overall experience & we would highly recommend.

Going on this tour was one of the best highlights of our Perth trip and the price was totally worth it. We visited 4 wineries all small, unique, boutique. All the tasting fees were included so there were no limitations to what we could try out. Our guide Shannon was extremely knowledgeable and was very helpful and patient as we took time tasting and buying a lot as well. Would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a small customized tour in Swan Valley.

Our personal guide Shannon, was brilliant. Not only did she know about the wines we sampled, she also knew all about the history of the 4 wineries we visited and the winemakers we met, who were all very generous with their time and their product. It was a relaxed, unrushed day. We travelled in a lovely near new a/c mini-van and stopped at a fabulous restaurant for a 5-star lunch. Worth every cent. A wonderful day in the Swan Valley. Highly recommended.

We took this tour from the Freemantle port two days ago. Shannon, our tour guide, was sure to confirm our tour via email prior to the tour. She picked us up in a clean, lovely van. Shannon was very knowledgeable of the area and selected 4 excellent wineries that gave in depth tours and tastings. She learnt our wine preferences (and the preferences of the three other guests on tour) and directed us and the various vintners to wines we would most likely enjoy. We also tasted a plethora of other wines to experiment with our taste buds. The vintners were liberal with the wines (we probably tasted at least 50) AND were extremely informative and personable. We enjoyed a delicious lunch midway through the tour. Shannon explained the sites around us as we drove through the Swan Valley region. She is proficient as a tour guide, and was friendly and informative. We definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning more about wines and for a delightful experience!

My husband and I had a great day out on this tour. Paul was a terrific guide. We started off at Olive Farm Wines where we had a very interesting wine tour followed by wine tasting. Then it was lunch next door and we enjoyed a delicious platter and a glass of wine. More wineries and chocolate tastings followed at other venues. We had time up our sleeves so Paul took us to Kings Park - something we wanted to see in Perth but didnt schedule. The small group tour was personalised and I highly recommend this tour and the company.
