We had a fabulous day with our guide, Roland! He was prompt, friendly and gracious! It was a long drive but that was to be expected. Roland suggested a lovely restaurant, La Ferme Saint Michel, and made reservations for us. Our meal was fantastic! Then we went on to the Abbey. It was absolutely breathtaking! It was an amazing day!!

Going to Mont St Michel was really worth it!! The abbey is amazing to see. Expect at least 4 hrs back and forth from Paris just for travel time. Our guide, Roland, is very knowledgeable. He knows the points of interests along the way and explained the history of the abbey and the surrounding community. Well worth it!!

We traveled from Paris to Mt Saint Mitchel by van and our guide’s name were Nicolas and Natie, the trip consisted of a 3 hours drive from Paris to reach the location on the west coast of the country.
Both of them kept us entertained and safe during the trip. In addition, they suggested where to eat once we arrived. They had a great sense of humor and made us laugh. Without a doubt we recommend the Team from France Tourisme the contractor provided via Viator.

Long drive to see an outstanding place in history. Jean Baptiste was an excellent driver and tour guide. Well worth the trip to get there and back. He even showed us the Eiffel Tower sparkling!

Mont St Michel is spectacular to experience.
It is so unique. We really only had a driver not a guide as we had on other Viator tours. Once we arrived we were on our own to explore. That is the reason for only 4 stars. You could get audio recording guides at the abbey if you want.
There are many steps to climb to get to the top of the abbey but once you get there the view is spectacular. The village below has places to eat and shop. It was a highlight of our time in France.

It is a unique and worthwhile experience. Mont St. Michel is very pretty, like a shining jewel sitting on a glossy mirror. My 11-year old son said the narrow alley inside looks like Diagon Valley in Harry Potter, and Hayao Miyazaki was perhaps inspired by it to create the mesmerizing film Castle in the Sky. It is a long drive from Paris, though, about 4 hours one way. Our guide Simon was friendly, considerate and knowledgeable. He made the trip more fun by introducing the landmark buildings in Paris while driving past them, and telling us the history of the Abbey in St Michel, as well as the unique culture of Normandy. I especially appreciate that he spoke English the whole way for our sake while other passengers in the car all understand French. My son and I were the only ones who don’t speak French. We thank Simon and the fellow tourists for a wonderful trip.

Great trip. Very long car ride but the skip the line tickets are a must. Excellent tour guide. Our tour guide helped us get inside quickly and avoid the quick sand outside (dangerous).

This guided tour takes all day but is absolutely worth it. Mont St Michelle was on my bucket list and our guide Michel was great. He had so much great history to share. We stopped along the way for gas and coffee. We ride in a small van with 5 of us total and the guides.

Loved the drive to Mont St Michel seeing the countryside was beautiful. Mont St Michel site was wonderful but the hundreds of steps to climb became very hard to traverse. Florian, our guide, was excellent.

This was one of the most breathtakingly experiences we did outside of Paris. I highly recommend booking this experience if you want something difference or if this has been on your bucket list of things you want to see in your life. Felipè our tour guide and driver was excellent and very nice and accommodating! What people don’t realize is that booking this experience you have a driver and tour guide taking you to Mont St. Michel itself without having to figure it out yourself on how to get there (transportation wise) because it is in the French countryside, and about 3-4 hours outside of Paris. The meeting point is across the Louvre museum, accessible by Metro or by taxi or G7 (Paris’ version of Uber)

Comfortable ride to Mont St Michel. There was a rest room stop halfway. We had about 4 hours to explore the abbey which we found was enough time. Our guide was professional and friendly.

Visiting Mt St Michel was a dream. Its like you are traveling back in time. Everything was very organized and always on time. We traveled with a 2 yr old baby and they provided a car seat and were super nice to the baby and everyone else. Be ready to climb some stairs!

Meeting location was easy to find and walkable distance from the hotel behind the Louvre Museum on Rue de Rivoli and Louvre lane. (Whilst other tours require to catch a train to other further locations west or near eiffel tower.)
Minivan driver is a friendly and very calm cool guy who was very easy to talk to and made sure everyone was ok throughout the trip. I recommend this tour. And the others who joined (mostly spanish) were all very nice people. We sat quietly in the van throughout the trip. One toilet break each way was also great as the drive was 4 hours each way. Snow and rain but we made it to and back! Thank you to our great driver!

Meeting at a 7 am in a xold day when the driver arrived at 7:28. No one to answer calls or texts. I think our driver was sick. The company should have more than one driver in case of sickness.

The Abbey was amazing and we loved seeing the monumental size of the building. The architecture and structures were incredible and impressive. The multitude of passages and stairways was a challenge to navigate but we did it!! The gray, rainy day underlined the austerity of the building. Our driver was kind enough to take us there and collect us after the tour. He gave us our admission tickets; no mention of audio guides, cider or museum. There was no history setting as we drove or interesting anecdotes afterwards. He privately chatted with the person on the front seat. It was raining and wet, heavy traffic and dark and I understand that he needed to concentrate on driving. So, we got there, received tickets, stood in line, saw the Abbey, walked back, drove. For a nice chunk of change. Something is missing.

This was a great trip that checked off a bucket list item. We visited in early October and had a beautiful day with a blue sky and warm but not hot temperature. My only recommendation is that if you are older with a "bad knee" or arthritic hips, do NOT forget to bring hiking poles. I brought mine with me and they enabled me to successfully navigate the steep path and many stairs that did not have handrails. I suggest the tour operator offer guests the opportunity to rent these because everyone does not own them or have the ability to put them into carry on luggage.
