We had a wonderful tour with Steve. He is a wonderful storyteller who made the history of Inverness very entertaining. Thank you for the wonderful tour

Steve was so knowledgeable and so pleasant. You could tell he loves the interactions with visitors and has a sense of pride and delight in his city. He has a great structure to his tour and we covered a comfortable amount of ground.

I am sure that the walking tour is very nice, however we were unable to experience it as our train to inverness was delayed en route by 3 hours.
We sat on the train for those 3 hours.
We were disappointed in the manner in which the tour operator interacted with us when we were notifying them of our delay which was totally out of our control. Their response was just "we hope you get here". It would have been nice if they said - "if you are late but still within the allocated time, we could have the (private tour) guide wait and provide a shortened tour" - or even an overview of Inverness at their office.
And a "so sorry you are experiencing this frustration with the train" would have also been nice.
When it became apparent that we would totally miss the tour, understanding it is non-refundable, it also would have been nice to have been offered a discount on a future tour (which we likely would not have been able to use.)
So, in summary, the team could absolutely improve their customer interaction skills, and we could have been left with a much more favorable view of their company and of our introduction to Inverness.

Sarah was very knowledgeable about the town and she was very friendly. We were able to know the history of Inverness and what changes have happened over the years

Spent a delightful 1.5 hours with Christine who was very knowledgable about Inverness, its history, buildings & local legends. Her friendly, laid back style made this a very interesting tour. Punctual and a good length/pace.

Becky is an amazing tour guide. She is very knowledgeable and doesn't bore you with just facts. She makes the tour a memorable experience that stays with you even after the tour as you walk throughout the city.

This tour is a great way to get the fully experience of Inverness’s history. We only had one day in the city and were able to get so much in. It’s a beautiful walk. We happened to be very lucky with sunny warm weather, otherwise it might be a bit uncomfortable in cold or rain. Our guide Steve was fun and knowledgeable. He’s also an incredible person who shared information on community initiatives he has worked in, giving us a perspective on modern life.

We had the pleasure of doing the Inverness walking tour with Doug, and it was absolutely fantastic. His knowledge of Inverness and Scottish history, as well as archaeology, was truly amazing. Doug's storytelling skills kept everyone engaged, including the kids, as he expertly weaved history into our journey. I highly recommend Doug's tours for a memorable and informative experience in Inverness!

It was a great way to get to know the city Also our guide not only gave us the historical facts of Inverness but gave us some suggestions of places to eat and things to do while here.
Cara, Mar 2024
We had a lovely time getting to see Inverness City center and getting recommendations for places to see/eat/explore along with a solid history lesson. As a private tour for just our group it was nice being able to more readily converse with our tour guide and felt more immersive!

Very nice place. We had a very informative tour guide, very knowledgeable of the Inverness history. Thank you, we enjoyed our tour especially our sons because they are able to ask questions.
