Itinerary

After being picked up from your central Nice hotel, settle into your air-conditioned private vehicle and soak up the scenery as you drive east across the Italian border.

Stop in Dolceacqua, a riverside village set against a stunning backdrop of the Nervia Valley, and follow your guide on a walking tour of the medieval Old Town. Visit Castle Doria, a medieval fortress located at the foot of Mt. Buffalo, then enjoy free time to explore independently or shop for souvenirs.

Next, head to the coastal town of Sanremo, the glamorous capital of the Italian Riviera, where you’ll have time to explore the marina, browse the shops, and enjoy lunch (own expense) at one of the seafront restaurants.
