This whole experience was amazing starting with the staff who were extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly to learning about the various scents and the proportions needed to make a unique perfume that I absolutely LOVE. If in Nice this is a definitely must do experience!

After spending a week in Nice, my family had toured other perfume factories, bought essential oils in the market, and thought we knew everything there was about making perfume. However, Molinard offered a great history of perfume making complimented with an in house perfumer who was able to help us make a personalized creation. You truly can't beat the value or quality associated with this tour.

Such a unique experience. It was interesting and gives you a true appreciation on how much goes into making a perfume. They explain the process well and them it is up to you to pick scents to combine. She offerred alot of help. Once you combine your scent choices, you fill a bottle to take home and your combination is numbered so you can order more if you want later. So glad we did it !

The brief lesson was good information. The exploration was enjoyable if a bit confusing to the nose, smelling so many scents (approx 40) so quickly to determine which ones we liked. Then, the magic of the combinations to get a mix you enjoy & want to personalize. Our concern was our instructor’s time and attention was divided between our group of 4 & another group of 3. The groups should not have overlapped of had two instructors. We were only supposed to be there 45 minutes but it took longer as I had to wait for the recipe to put my perfume together. My friends would have liked more interaction with her also. In the end, she did not escort us to the shop as she was busy. We would not have bought anything for that reason except we had committed to picking up a few items for friends. I had to go ask for service snd we had to wait again before she could complete our transaction as staff was insufficient. When considering that we spent a lot of € between the course and product, we were not happy with the course or service.

So happy we did this!

Well theyvare the oldest perfumers in the world. Had exoected to smell essential oils, learn about sourcing oils, learning more about the process of a perfume. Have done better courses. They dont give ypu to smell anything just a pre mixed formula to make your perfume. Difference between citrus, resins, barks n flower category... just a very very basic course... can do better. They dont even brief about them selves and their history in perfumery.

We weren't quite sure what to expect with this as we had never done anything like it but were pleasantly surprised! My boyfriend and I had our own private table which made the experience even better. We enjoyed smelling all the different scents and the staff were very informative on how to improve our perfumes. Overall, a very good experience, suitable for both males and females.

This was my third time making perfume in France and by far the best experience I have had. You were given a limited selection of scents to choose from to make your perfume. It took about an hour and I loved it when we were done.

As we only did the shorter workshop, it was a bit rushed, but we are extremely glad with our own signature perfumes at the end. And our host was pleasant and spoke English well. Would highly recommend, and perhaps would suggest the longer class if an option.
