Great day at Antibes

Our guide / driver Philippe was helpful and shared info about locations. He made our trip more fun . Not much to see in Cannas , don’t spend there an hour. Just take a pic of red carpet and drive through . Antibes was beautiful . I would easily spend another couple of hours there . Scenery is beautiful and we had a great time there. Old town and Picasso museum - would like to have more time there .

Unsafe & Rip Off

The “tour guide/driver” provided virtually nothing of value. He was essentially a taxi driver. He dropped us off at a spot in Antibes and Cannes each for about 45 minutes. There were 2 large issues with the excursion; #1 his car smelled the entire time like body odor and #2 he drove erratically and unsafe on our way back from Cannes. We were on a highway in traffic and he was clearly annoyed by the fact there was traffic. He backed up on the highway when our lane wasn’t moving to go around another vehicle and then jumped 4 other lanes. I’ve never witnessed such unsafe driving before. I’d think twice before getting into a car with him again.

Dear Sir I am sorry for your disappointment for the tour, I do not agree with you, I have made all the comments that I make on the trips with all my other customers, so I can not let you say that my work does not had no value; I invite you to see all the customer reviews they are very eloquent and also the tours in the guide's company are only for "private" tours which cost much more; but you have chosen a shared tour yourself On the other hand I have been driving for 42 years and have never had the slightest accident, now in France we have the right to change lanes being careful; I know that there are people who are afraid in the car and I completely understand it does not mean that the driver's driving is dangerous, see on one of the reviews that a customer even mentions "very good safe driver" !!! On this Sir I wish you the best and an excellent holiday respectfully Philip

It was ok. We couldn't take the coastal route that day as it was closed due to rains. But we decided to go ahead with the tour as we were leaving the Nice the next day. Our Driver and Guide Philippe was ok, didn't provide much information. So I suggest you google your history before visiting.

We chose the half day trip and enjoyed it very much. Philippe was our fabulous driver. He arrived at our hotel to pick us up on time. Gave us good recommendations on food to eat and then a fabulous restaurant in Nice. You must ask for him and get these recommendations. The drive along the coastline was beautiful. The stops are short, but you get enough of a feel for if you want to return or not. We liked both Antibes and St Paul. Cannes was very crowded so we did not stop. Thank you for this special day!
