Overview

Imagine kayaking past icebergs, nesting puffins, and maybe even beside dolphins or a whale in the waters off Newfoundland. This tour could make that your reality. Have your kayak towed out off the coast, then kayak along the shore with your guide. The route will be varied for each trip, based on wildlife sightings, the state of the ocean, and each paddlers comfort and ability.

The guide will plan the best route using their discretion
Upgrade by adding a beach boil or extra hours
Choice of morning or afternoon departures
Tours run seasonally, from June to September

Our guide Daryl was knowledgeable and fun. He explained lots of interesting history of the area while navigating the waters with us. We saw many bald eagles and their nests, different species of birds and multiple types of jellyfish. The kayak tour itself was so much fun, just the adventure we were looking for. There was a great balance of smooth waters as well as slightly more challenging waves. We explored the coastline, caves and open waters with smiles on our faces the entire time. We will definitely be back for another tour. The hospitality before and after the tour was also outstanding. Hot beverages and snacks provided and our guide took memorable photos of us. 10/10 would recommend!
