Great experience and saw a beautiful iceberg. The sea was fairly rough and many people had sea sickness but that was not the tour operators fault. Good explanations, excellent crew.

Fantastic trip that was extended past the original 2 hours so everyone on board had time to view the Icebergs. Captain and his crew made it an informative, enjoyable and amazing experience. Probably the best trip we have ever booked through Viator, a truly unforgettable few hours , thanks to all at Iceberg Quest. The highlight of our short trip to Newfoundland, highly recommended

It was raining, windy and cold, but the experience was worth every minute of it! The crew on land and on board were fantastic. The main attraction, a medium sized iceberg was beautiful! The littles around it were not bad winter ;)

Boat ride massively extended to chase down one of the season’s last icebergs. So grateful for the chance to see it. Thanks to the intrepid crew!

They made a great effort to deliver on seeing an iceberg. A 2 hour tour was turned into a 4 hour tour just to make it happen.

    Everyone was getting sick

Do not go if it’s foggy or rough seas, everyone was getting sick my hubby is currently in hospital dealing with motion sickness and effects had on dementia

I have very mixed feelings about this experience. The captain did a great job of finding and getting us to an iceberg which was awesome. He certainly went above and beyond to ensure we could see the iceberg up close by making this a three hour excursion instead of two. The downside was that the seas were rough and nearly have the passengers got sick. However, the staff handled it well giving out bags and making sure everyone was as comfortable as possible.

    We made a wonderful trip....

It was a lot of fun. We were there in June and it was a little bit chilly but not bad. We did get to see iceberg and a couple of humpback whales and it was a lot of fun.

Tour was exactly as advertised. We saw whales, gannets, seals and icebergs. The crew was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We would certainly take the tour again if we were in the area.

    Brave the weather!

    Highlight of my trip East!

There is certainly an element of luck. We were lucky on June 5, 2025. There was a magnificent, large berg just outside the harbour!!

    Loved it!

We booked the tour to see icebergs and we were not disappointed. We saw 4 icebergs and the captain spent time driving around each iceberg so that everyone on the boat could get pictures. It was an amazing experience. Staff were helpful and provided information and spent time talking to all the guests aboard.

Watching the whales, listening to the stories and just experiencing the ocean and the spectacular views from the boat was amazing. Many thank you’s to the wonderful crew members. I highly recommend these folks if you are looking for a memorable experience.

    Great company with wonderful staff

    Dan_Q, Jul 2024
Costal tour was magnificent. Didn’t see many whales maybe 5 over the course of the 2 hour tour. Not the operators fault

    Expensive boat ride

    Laurie_G, Jul 2024
The tour knew we were not going to see any whales or icebergs and still charged full price. Very expensive boat ride. Crew was very good but tour company should not charge full price if there is nothing to see.

    Amazing bout your!

    Martina_H, Jul 2024
The crew was very friendly and full of information. The views were stunning, pictures don’t do it justice. To late in the year for icebergs but still well worth it!

    They try harder.

    Douglas_G, Jul 2024
We got to see Eagle and Osprey nest. They are a fun and informative crew. The captain performed some amazing maneuvering around lobster pot lines.

    Disappointing

    Ken_E, Jun 2024
Unfortunately there were no icebergs or whales which I knew that was a possibility but there was was very little effort put in by the crew . Little commentary or next to none and if you want to purchase anything which I wanted the guy was too busy on his phone . Disappointed

    Scenic tour!!!

    Patricia_L, Jun 2024
Entertaining and scenic! The ugly sticks were great fun!!! Love the boat’s proximity to the rugged coastline. Friendly and welcoming crew.

Restaurant lady took our us dollars cash

    Yu_Z, Jun 2024
The boat tour is OK though seeing nothing but just sit on the boat for two hours. Before on the boat, the restaurant is terrible, I believe it is the same owner. We had lunch there, and we were asked for cash only, because we come from the States only have $140 US dollars cash in my pocket, the lunch cost in total is about 120 Canadian dollars, but the restaurant lady took all of our $140 us dollars cash, the exchange rate on that day is 1 US dollar = 1.37 Canadian dollar, so we paid $192 Canadian dollars for a $120 Canadian dollar lunch, the lady just asked for and took the money from my wife like a hungry wolf, because she saw we're in a rush to board on the boat at that time. It is a horrible experience, very bad...We won't be there next time absolutely.

    Maybe have to try again!

    Arthur_G, Jun 2024
The excursion was good and the crew were fantastic however, there were no ice burgs to be seen. Nobody’s fault, just circumstances!

    Great trip
