The best Safari trip

We were lucky enough to experience the beauty of Masai Mara with our Experienced guide Martin , he was very punctual and always helped us manage time in the best way possible, our guide helped us spot all the animals and shared interesting facts about them . The accommodation was amazing and the staff at the lodge made sure our needs are met . Overall i would highly recommend this experience.

We were picked up at the airport, dropped off at our hotel, and then picked up in the early morning for a day of experiencing Nairobi. After a long and interesting day we had a good nights sleep before heading out to Masai Mara. It was a 6 hour drive, including a few stops as well as driving to a location where they had spotted lions - so even before arriving at Ashnil camp for lunch we got to see a lion guarding his hunted prey, waiting to eat it. Ashnil was clean, quiet and wonderful, highly recommended. There are some hippos in the river outside (singing/grunting their lullabies constantly)! On day two of the safari we had about 9,5 hours in the car, with lunch along the way. Our driver Ian was absolutely amazing. Knowledgeable, kind and calm. We are still in awe of his driving skills, as well as how well he knows the park, and his spotting abilities and interest in birds (coinciding with ours). We would do this again in a heartbeat. Explorer Kenya is a reliable company.
