5 stars. Mani arrived a few minutes before the scheduled pick up time. He drove us to each attraction safely and always waited patiently while we enjoyed the sights. I think we even over ran a bit but he never hurried us. He even did us a favour taking us to our next hotel.

Didn't realise this was a private tour so that was a bit of a surprise. The tour driver was friendly and knowledgeable but it was a bit strange having a personal guide for me as a solo traveller as I was expecting a small group tour (I clearly didn't read the description very well).
The Mud bath and Hot Springs was definitely the highlight of the trip. The garden of the Sleeping Giant was also quite lovely and peaceful. The village tour wasn't what I was expecting - was quite short and and felt a bit awkward and rushed.

Our family signed up for this tour during an extended layover. The guide was polite, engaging, and enthusiastic about showing us around. He was also flexible which allowed for us to be picked up from our breakfast spot in town and dropped off at a resort where we’d booked a day room.
The long layover was a result of unfortunate flight delays on our way to Samoa, but this tour was a fantastic way to make the most of it and capture some Fijian memories.

Subpar experience. I would recommended just hiring a taxi driver to take you to the sites you want to see. We had other people on the tour, and had to wait for them to finish up (exploring the gardens and shopping) before moving to the next activity. It was tacky to take us to “Jacks” for souvenir shopping. If you appreciate authentic cultural experiences then this won’t appeal to you. If you are looking for a decent guide to taxi around to the sites listed, then this experience will work for you.

I had a 15 hour layover in Fiji and my tour guide was Anish! Anish was full of knowledge, very kind, and as a solo female traveler he made me feel comfortable and safe! The Hindu temple was beautifully vibrant. I told Anish I was interested in a Kava welcoming ceremony, where he took me next and it was great! After the ceremony Anish was great to help me navigate through the vendors as sometimes it’s hard to say no to buying their products (as sometimes they may try to upsell you), but I was very thankful that Anish helped me navigate through that. The Fijian village is a MUST SEE, I was greeted by a few Fijian women that live in the village and they were wonderful and so kind, and the tour of the village was one of a kind! Make sure to bring Fijian currency to help support them and their hand made creations. The Mud Pool and Hot Spring was so fun and relaxing, make sure to talk to the workers there so you learn about the legends of the Mud Pool & Hot Spring. Anish was great and let me take my time at every stop as he knew I had a lot of time until my 7 pm flight, so he also took me to his favorite fish & chips restaurant for lunch, and my oh my was is delicious!! Best tour I’ve had - I would book this again if I ever return with my family!

Ali did a great job taking us to all the listed venues we wanted to see. However, if you need a taxi ride to Lautoka from Nadi, I suggest you book your owb taxi, as their rate was $100 vs. $30-40 for a taxi.

I normally don’t leave reviews unless they are positive. Unfortunately, this is not one of those occasions. I will start with the positives: our driver was “on time” just a few minutes after the pick up time, since we were the only travelers that day it was more like a private tour, the van was clean and air conditioned, our guide (Ravi) was a safe driver, was knowledgeable about the temple, and was willing to make a pit stop at a grocery store on the way back to our hotel so we could get refreshments. However, the big disappointment came as our driver never took use to the Viseisei village which is the big reason why we booked the Excursion. Instead, he took us to a store that sold souvenirs to try kava. There was no explanation about kava or the anything about the culture explained. The kava provider had sunglasses braced on his forehead and simply placed two pieces of worn laminated articles down in front of us. We were then pressured to buy stuff from the store (which we did not do). Afterwards, he took us to a fruit market on the way to the Garden. I agree the market was an added treat but he never told us these stops were in lieu of the village. We then went to the Garden where he gave us time to ourselves to explore. Unfortunately, we didn’t have a guide to point out anything special about the garden but did have time to hike up to the lookout that he mentioned. We then went to the mud pool and hot springs. It was overall a touristy in and out which we expected but it was still nice to do it. He did tell us that they gave massages with coconut oil for a great price (cash only). I was a little disappointed In our guide’s information about Fiji as we later learned some of it was completely inaccurate. For example, he told us that they had to now pay for primary school education for their kids of $200 a month/kid. Meaning other than the temple, our guide was more like a driver instead of a guide. He also tried to have us book other things through him but when we messaged him to ask him why we didn’t go to the Viseisei village he never responded so we decided that we would book other excursions through other companies. That being said if you’re looking for someone to drive you around to these various sites, then I would recommend at least considering this excursion. However, if like us, you had your hopes set on going to the village, you might want to consider a different company.

This was a wonderful way to spend a day in Fiji. Ravi was an excellent guide with a great sense of humour and very knowledgeable. The mud pools were a highlight and we are still scrubbing it out of places.

It was so much fun and must do it if you are in Fiji. I would definitely do that again. Make sure to wear lose clothes that easier to change and they also have massage as well.

This trip was truly amazing! We got to do way more than I expected. We toured a little village, went to the farmers market, the temple, stop at a shop, the garden, a hike and the mud pools. It was by far the best tour we had. Manjo was our guide and he gave us in-depth conversation about Fiji. I definitely recommend booking this trip with him!

This was a very well run tour. Pick up from our hotel was on time & simple. Our Tour guide Thomas was excellent (6 stars). Viator however should inform everyone regarding the dress restrictions for the Hindu temple and also even the requirements for the traditional Fiji Village tour (ladies, no bare legs or midriff). Also no hats ! Everything else was perfect, the gardens were stunning, the mud pool people could not have been more welcoming and assisted by taking lots of photos for us. Highly recommend this experience.

Krishna of Xplore Fiji was a great tour guy guide and made the day very good. The downside we booked this trip in Fiji and expected the price quoted was Fijian Dollars only to find the tickets were charged in Australian Dollars meant the trip was 1.5 time more than we expected. At that price it was not worthwhile.

The beauty of the orchids at Garden of Sleeping Giant - they were amazing. The mud bath, thermal pool soak followed by a massage left me feeling great. The village tour was interesting. Muddy my guide was fantastic. Friendly, lots of info and looked after me.

I booked this tour last minute (around midnight) and asked for pickup detail via message. All went well, Thomas picked me up and found out I am only one. Therefore I could enjoy very private tour.
Village, Gardens with lookout or Mud pool were very nice. I got many "muddy" pictures. I also tried local massage for good price.
I recommend if you wanna balance the island hopping with some nature without long travelling. I did this day before leaving Fiji. Thanks Thomas.

A great trip. Thomas was pleasant and informative and had a great sense of humour.
We stopped at local markets, then to the village (with some tolerable hawking of wares by the locals). The gardens were beautiful - wear practical shoes as the boards in the rainforest are slippery, and you will require good mobility.
The mud pools were great! Though I did not get the promised ten years off my age!!!

Great trip and opportunity to see more of Fiji, Thomas our driver was fantastic answering all of our questions! Village visit was very interesting, the garden of the sleeping giant was pretty and a had a great viewpoint make sure to get to it, it’s only hard for maybe 5 minutes! Mud pool and spring was so much fun one of the lovely ladies Buna took many pictures even without us asking! Opportunity to buy beautiful well made souvenirs in the village and mud baths so we bought a little in both! Would highly recommend this trip.
