Under whelmed with the raft trip itself. It was not like I expected.

I'm guessing everyone's experience is different. First off our raft didn't have an umbrella [everyone else did], the sun was beaming this day.
Then our excursion on the actual raft was like 10 min, they took us to get our leg massage which was like 2 min away from our boarding area & this took about another 2 min per person, then after rinsing the limestone off, he just rowed up the river like another minute then took us back to finish ride. Very disappointed, didn't get to see anyone selling souvenirs or food, we barely made it out the boarding area.
Staff were friendly, but was expecting to be rafting on the actual river for longer period of time.

This review is not true. There is a lot of inconsistency from the guest. First they asked for a full refund stating that the driver did not show up. Which the driver showed up on time and take the guests to the attraction. This request was rejected. Now they have given a one star review stating the tour only lasted a total of fifteen minutes, which is not true. This tour lasted for 1hour and 45 minutes. The guests told me they had a great time. This is not a true reflection of Jamaica HappyAdventure Tour .

The experience was amazing from start to end…Our shuttle driver Dwright Harvard very professional great drive he was not only our driver but Our Tour Guy with lots of interesting information and history of Montego Bay. The jokes were funny and he was very attentive.
There was 3 in the group so we had two bamboo tour guys . Fisha was the Best very attentive. request him if you can his service was an 10/10 from serving us drinks to the massage very experienced with guiding the raft up and down the river. Papa was our other tour guy on the river. He was very attentive. Well experienced and knowledgeable about the services he provided. The both work great as a team. They had Bluetooth speakers available for our use. We dance they dance it was definitely a Bamboo Rafting party on the River. Can’t wait to go back 2025.

Traveled as a group of 9. Dwight was amazing. He arrived to pick us up at our hotel at 10am promptly. He shared knowledge of the island and made a pit stop for some beers for the road. The bamboo raft was so relaxing and a must do. Streaming down the river with music and drinks was a great experience. We also got to stop for some souvenirs. Dwight was great and courteous thank you for a great time.

We decided to go bamboo rafting at the last minute and let’s just say it was an amazing experience! Fisher, our rafter, was so down to earth and friendly with us. We stopped along the rafting tour and purchased the BEST JERK CHICKEN(best chicken overall) we’ve ever tasted. This tour was so relaxing and an experience we’ll AWAYS remember!

Service was amazing! Starting with our driver Dwight, he was punctual responded to every inquiry, taught us a little history about Jamaica and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable.
You will feel extremely safe on this tour, it was entertaining, relaxing and overall a great experience. Popi our bamboo raft captain provided us with music, and his raft had floral arrangements and other small touches that made it extra special for us.
I would recommend to travelers for you to bring som extra cash, there’s a lot of small vendors with a variety of items you might want to purchase. From bamboo straw hats, fresh coconuts, to food and other souvenirs.
I would give it an overall 10/10, and when we’re back in Jamaica we would definitely be booking again with Jamaica Happy Adventure Tour!
Thank you Dwight and team for making this a memorable trip for my husband and I.

Loved it! Massages were great. They are for women only. If a male wants massage they will call a woman to do it. The whole family went. Ages 6-72. My review is late. Just saw it in my app.

Our driver Dwight was courteous, knowledgeable, and punctual. He gave us facts about the island. Took us shopping and to KFC after rafting. Rafting was beautiful and peaceful. Just wish it was a longer rafting experience. But great experience overall!

Absolutely amazing experience. The ride was a little rocky. Popie was a great tour guide on the river. The massage was nice. I would highly recommend you do go through more of a poverty area in order to get there, so you will be fine.

This was the best experience I am so happy I did it as part of my trip. Had amazing food and the people were all so. I’ve and welcoming! People keep in mind that this is how they feed their families so don’t be stingy with the tips! They work hard to make sure you have the best experience and they deserve a great tip!

Overall it was a nice experience. There was a lot of loud music and overall noise coming from the other rafters so it wasn’t the quiet., peaceful experience I expected. Although voucher stated that we would receive drinks we were told that it was not included and would have to be purchased separately. Really enjoyed the limestone foot message.

Dwight our driver was very friendly 🤎 he gave us a bit of his Jamaican history and we had a few laughs. Fisher our raft guide always was a great time. Definitely get some jerk chicken while you’re rafting it is Amazing. 10/10 recommend

I traveled with a group of 7 and we had 4 captains. Yankee and two other captains were fantastic. The foot massages were great.
1) Sniper, however, was sexually inappropriate towards us throughout our ride.
2) The male in our group was not able to get a massage and they offered a massage by a female for an additional $25. He, however, had paid the full price already.
3) There was significant price gouging. My sister in law was told that her mango was $2. At the end of the tour and after eating the mango, she was told that it would now be $5
I would recommend the experience for sure, but maybe with a different company or avoiding Sniper.

The bamboo rafting itself is lovely and peaceful in some spots. However, the drive there was unpleasant. The travel there felt uneasy. I would say go in a group of four or more.

Overall, it was a good and fun experience. Winston Harvey was our driver. He was on time and took us souvenir shopping after the excursion. He even gave us a history lesson on Jamaica and showed us some of the sites. The excursion itself was beautiful. My only complaint would be the site indicates Prosecco would be included but when we got there, we were told we would have to pay an additional fee for it.

Be careful. Booked with them and they never came to pick me and my family up. We waited for an hour and a half so proceed with caution.

The guest booked the tour 10 minutes to 2 pm for a 3pm pick up. The booking came in after 3pm. Immediately we dispatched a driver, it is a 50 minutes drive from Montego Bay to their location. Upon arrival we try contacting the guest , we tried reaching out to their room got no response. We are sorry about this situation we always meet our guests needs and try to exceed their expectations We are always on time and before time picking up our guests. Again we apologize for the inconvenience.

This was a very relaxing excursion. The staff was nice and helpful. Bring cash, you can order drinks and food while you are there. The massage was great and you can pay extra if you want them to massage more than your legs.

I truly enjoyed the rafting. We learned things about the island and ate plenty authentic Jamaican food. The fresh coconut and mango had me sold! We will be back next time!!!

Lots of details missing from the description.
Bring a towel, it only lasts 45min-60 on the actual river unless you directly get one of the captains and work out a longer duration. Once in the river you won’t want to get out. They really rush you out of there too expect a not so easy going departure from the raft.
Otherwise a great experience.
