In Negril, spend the rest of the afternoon soaking up the island vibes at Rick’s Cafe, a popular clifftop restaurant and bar. You’ll have enough time to try classic Jamaican fare and drinks (own expense), listen to music, and swim in the pool with ocean views. Leap off coastal cliffs into the sea if you’d like.

The place was fun and entertaining. However, my husband had to wait 45mins because they "forgot" to make his veggie burger. I would still highly recommend it and enjoyed myself.

I was expected a private tour to Negril. Not just a driver who dropped us off outside the door and then made us hurry up and leave before the sunset. We got to spend less than an hour at Rick’s Cafe. It took us over 3 hours to drive there! As we were talking to the hotel staff while waiting for the driver (who was late!) the staff told us that we should have left earlier …… not at 2pm! The driver was supposed to pick us up at 1:30 but ideally, we should have been picked up at 11:30. He literally dropped us off at the entrance and then came to get us an hour later. Definitely would NOT recommend this tour. It would have been easier (and cheaper) to hire a cab at the hotel.

We are extremely saddened to learn of your experience. However, this is not a private tour as private tours are much more expensive than shared tour and cost a little less than $300 or more you paid almost half that cost. But you could request a private tour from us and we could charge accordingly. We apologise that your tour pickup was late however, it should have been 1 30 not 11 30 as you expressed. We have spoken to the driver involved as that time was definitely too little, thats unheard of and could not in anyway represent the policy of the organisation. Going forward due to meeting held with drivers we do not expect to get any such complains. Thanks for letting us know. We appreciate this review so this does not ever occur again.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND I WILL NOT BE BOOKING WITH THELMA’S EVERY AGAIN!!! The communication was horrible and subpar at best. The company reached out to ask me to complete my tour another day, which I could not accommodate, and I requested a refund. They then ignore my refund request and sent a driver 3 hours later AFTER I requested the refund.. and it was like pulling teeth to get them to agree to give my money back.. why would you ask to do my tour another day if you indeed had avail to do it the day requested? Poor service and I would not recommend. EVER!!!!!

We did not cancel this customer tour, we simply ask if a change was possible. We try every means to get to the guest calling their hotels, their phone number , nothing went through. All this after not receiving any response from an emakl sent. Thus we see it necessary to send they driver as they were still expecting their tour. We had give up hope of contact before tour and only after driver cannot find them that we tried getting them to let them know the driver was there . They decided not to go again. Then we realised they communicated a bit over an jour before the tour should start. The driver salary for going to the site was deducted and balance refunded to customer. We did not take a cent otherwise from this customer, we did have to pay part of the worker compensation from our pocket instead. Sorry you feel this way.

Rick's was a good time, the drinks aren't all that but the music, vibes and experience is good and it's a must to jump off the cliff!! lol.. And if you're not staying in Negril be ready to take a loooooooong drive but other than that great experience..

Everything about Rick's Cafe was 10/10! Great music, and food. The vibes were there! Beautiful sunset. It rained a little, but that did not stop anything. It was extremely crowded, so if you're not a fan of large crowds, I would not go on a weekend.

The weather was beautiful the first twenty minutes. Shortly it rained and it never stopped. Unfortunately, we didn’t experience the beautiful sunsets. The food and waitress service was excellent! The waitress took care of us during the rain. She put us in a good spot inside.

Overall a good experience. Would have appreciated it more if the boats bringing people for sunset do not anchor right in the way of the sunset. Can take better sunset pictures without them in the background. Otherwise a lovely spot and good vibe all round
